There are two kinds of Poly-Fiber polyester rib lacing cords, round and flat. It is your choice. Flab rib lacing cord, like a shoelace, takes some untwisting at times. Round cord is faster and only slightly thicker than flat. Rib lacing cord is impregnated with a special wax.
Only two knots are approved with the Poly-Fiber STC: Modified Seine Knot and Hidden Modified Seine Knot.
For more information visit our website www.conaircraf... or call 1-800-362-3490.

You're a great teacher, Hualdo! You made this very clear and understandable, and now I can stitch my wings with confidence. Thanks!

Probably the best lacing demo I've see, and I've taken a class in person too, well done!

Great video. Thank you for sharing this. I am an A&P, but I have very little experience with fabric coverings.

Really appreciate this video. But I wish the camera was closer. Hard to see what’s going on because there’s kittle contrast between the thread and covering.

Is this done only on wings? Or does it get done on body of plane as well?

GREAT DEMO!!!! GOOD WORK!!!! AWESOME!!!!! DO YOU PRE-FORM THE STICHING HOLE LOCATIONS, WITH SOME KIND OF HOT NEEDLE?!.... WHAT ABOUT THE SPACING BETWEEN STITCHES?.... IS IT DEPENDENT ON THE AIRCRAFT'S MAXIMUM AIRSPEED, OR IS IT A CONSTANT?...
