Thanks for doing this, I will probably be covering the wing on my Kitfox in the next month or two! Looking forward to a detailed video on tying the rib lacing. I knew I should have practiced at the poly fiber booth this year at Oshkosh
We will be at Sun'nFun & Oshkosh this year. Stop by the Rib Lace booth and we will give you a hand!
When wrapping the fabric around the rib, if you use your iron to shape the fabric around the cap strip on the rib, it will want to stay in place much better when you put the glue to it. I also have a bunch of plastic clothes pins to keep it in place till glue dries.
Great video. Even though I've taken the course, the video is still very helpful. Wish now that I had video'd the course.
How many inches wings chord?
Скажите пожалуйста! это лавсан?.
Nice video! Tnx. Q: is it also possible to glue on aluminium wing frame?
any bond can work instead of poly take cement
Poly-Tak is the only cement product approved with the Poly-Fiber system. Any other cement will void the STC. Even on uncertificed aircraft its recommended to use Poly-Tak because we have through testing on it's chemical interaction with other Poly-Fiber products.
Why would consider anything other than Poly-Tac?
