I have a Rubino and I love it. I did use two Cafiza tabs in the blind flush basket and now my brew lever squeaks a little when the machine is off, as I lift the lever, but it's fine on. Is this a serious problem? Should I dismantle the brew lever and lubricate the gaskets? Do you recommend Cafiza tabs (ONE not two) when backflushing the the group once a week? I've not used the tabs in about 3 weeks. I won't again until the lever stops squeaking in the off position.
The 2 tabs may be a bit much. 1 should be fine, and do it more regularly. The squeak is coming from the lever cam grinding on the upper and lower brew chamber pistons. Get some food grade grease in there for sure. đđ»

I have adjusted the coffee grid to very fine but the machine still brews way too fast. Like 5 secs. What else can I do?

Does this do a pre infusion if you lift the lever half way like some other machines?
How does this compare to the VBM domobar Jr at a similar price?
Lifting the lever half way stalls the pump and give the coffee a bloom on a reducing pressure chamber, itâs a type of pre infusion. All the machines that have the exposed head ad lever are the same. The Vbm is a good machine. A little more expensive and has similar features. We sell them both, the Rubino has been more popular as the price is a huge advantage. đ

Prices in NZ, when the Rubino is available - can't find and at the moment, are more similar especially if you find decent package including extras and 2hrs of training.
Nice review and I appreciate you mentioning the good and the bad. Question on the portafilter, can you just turn the spout or is there not enough room on the drip tray?
You can do this, it does get a little tight for space, itâs ok for some cups, but rinsing is not ideal.
Mine is being delivered today. Great review. Thank you. I am hoping I didnt go to far overboard with this upgrade. I still am only making a couple a day. This machine looks like its meant to make much much more.
It will be great for the daily brew and when you have a full house for a morning tea! Itâs very capable

@@trancethan my Quick Mill Rubino only has manual on/off switch.
@@ozlemguler4324 is the alarm supposed to go off when the water is low? Mine has run out twice. Ive only seen the alarm when you pull the tank. Now I just leave the tank in and fill it with a pitcher every couple days.
@@trancethan mine doesnt have an alarm but a red light for empty tank (and of course that uncomfortable grinding sound). I just top the tank up with every morning's clean up.
How does it compare to the Profitec 300? Granted I will be making at most 2 espressoÂŽs back to back.

Loving the videos. Watched both reviews of this and the Rocket Appartamento. Both are around the sub $3k mark. Would you recommend the Rubino or the Rocket Appartamento?
The rocket has the bigger handles and naked basket, this is a great value that you can assess the difference in price. The brand of rocket is also seen to be more premium.

These are all domestic consumer models, both brands have commercial models for cafes

@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters I think all the machines tend to be a little cheaper in the UK so probably up to ÂŁ1500 ($3000AUS)? I'm trying to practice at home whilst all the training centres are closed!
Could you please recommend which is better rocket Appartamento or this machine.
They are both great machines, the apartmento has the larger porta filter, they both come with an accessories pack. The rocket is about $600 more expensive. We have both in stock if you would like one đ€đ»
I have owned one for about a month. For a shade under 2k it's a well built bargain

Ohh good question and tough choice! Both are great little machines. Personally I'd probably go for the Quick Mill as it's more compact for the home kitchen or office. I do prefer the styling too. Can't go wrong either way :)
Hi, may be a stupid question but just wondering if this machine were able to make around 100 coffees in a row for a school event?
Technically it could, but not ideal as the water tank is only 3lt and you would have to fill it regularly. Also 100 coffees is quite a lot, if itâs 2 min per coffee thatâs 2 hours as you only have 1 head and 1 steamer. Probably not a good outcome for that many people.

do you mean the BZ10? if so they are very different in build quality and functionl design

Hi! Where is the water reservoir and how do you refill it?
YES, such an obvious one we missed, its on the top, the same as most machines, you lift the lid and remove the tank. fill and pop back in, One fact is that if you have water in the tank and you remove it and put it on the bench it will push the ball valve up and leak water everywhere, so best to place it in the sink. đ

Hello, there is a switch under the machine, could you let me know what this does please?
If itâs a new model it can be the low power option. If itâs a higher model with the rotary pump its the pump to mains switching

Thanks for the question, itâs best for home. In a small commercial setup you need a plumbed machine to ensure you have great filtration and to keep up with the demand in peak periods.
