This is helpful thank you. We are hoping to start our process soon to move there under the D7 Visa. We'd also like to look for a T2 apartment kind of central for around 100,000 euros so we have to see which towns. We are interested towns just outside the main two cities. What I concluded for your video above everything is to be very patient 🙂. Amazingly valuable video for me. I've been to Portugal several times, first as visitor, then as volunteer for 4 years. I
have decided I would move to Portugal in 2020 but alas covid. Two cities I have come to love are Braga and Beja.
Very different but each filled with the amazing synergy that is Portugal. Did you consider Braga? I understand not
considering Beja because of summer heat after watching this video. I will be in Portugal this fall for 11 wks....to
walk Camino from Porto and also participate in volunteer work. The remaining time will be spent visiting locals
that interest me as possible resident. I don't plan to own a vehicle in Portugal so public transport is really important
to me getting to and from the city. Have you any other cities to suggest not featured in your video? Thank you so

Choosing the right place to stay depends on your preferences. Do you like cooler or warmer climates, and do you prefer a larger city or a smaller town? Are you more of a hiker or a beachgoer, or do you prefer cultural activities? If you don't plan on owning a car, we recommend staying in towns that have good bus connections.
