for those wondering why she’s an adult now: in botw, she turned herself into a kid with an anti-aging rune, and was working on a re-aging rune to get herself back to somewhat normal. this is the result.
Yep. Purah's efforts had succeeded into getting her into her body as it was in her twenties.
Apparently she got sick of being treated like a kid. Not that I blame her. Of course, now she has to deal will us rabid fans. ^o^

Some of them didn't know (this is Chloe's first Zelda game), a few forgot, but some (like Mumeil) just weren't sure how much time had passed between BOTW and TOTK, so they didn't know if she'd just aged naturally or continued experimenting.
To be fair, unless they take the time to track down her diaries it's easy for people to assume that she simply "grew up" again.
mumei knew about the experiment to make herself younger since she mentioned how she accidently turned herself into a child but i don't think she realized in the moment that she found a way to revert it

I swear, people really only noticed her in TotK and not Age of Calamity.
Larger audience, means more people to notice and share her online. That and her TotK design is much more interesting visually,
Makes sense considering the majority of BoTW & TotK crowd never played Age of Calamity or others refuse to acknowledge its existence, after all the sales speak for itself.
Of course design wise TotK’s purah is just very well done.
