- This 30 minute all-in-one walking workout includes cardio, strength, balance and flexibility exercises for the secrets of longevity. Walking or cardio alone will not give you the results you need. Incorporating strength exercises will boost your metabolism, and adding in balance and flexibility exercises will give you a well-rounded program to provide results. If you're used to working out with 'Improved Health', this is considered an intermediate level workout.

Hello Jules! I just finished this workout, and I have to compliment you on yet another winning one! I loved how comprehensive it is, and as a woman in her 60's, with a family history of hip fractures, I'm acutely aware of how I need to maintain and improve my balance. This workout will do just that! I also love your other videos, and I would rate them all 10+ if I could! I'm not able to get to a gym right now, and I was quite depressed about growing out of shape and losing energy, but I truly feel that your videos are an absolute lifesaver! Hi Jules, I wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your workouts! I am 52, have an autoimmune that prevents intense workouts, and have bad hips from an auto accident. Your workouts are low impact and provide a well rounded workout. Thank you! I was an avid runner, running 40-60 miles a week and had to stop. Thanks so much for your kind comment, Nancy. One thing to do to make the balance a little bit easier is to bend the supporting leg a little bit more and definitely feel free to have a chair beside you to hold onto as needed. Glad to read that your hubby enjoys the music!

I loved this one Jules! I appreciated the dynamic strengthening so we were still getting our steps in🙌🏻. The balance move most challenging was the hip extension but I did it! I love this video, especially the music! It makes me go further than I think I can go ❤ I am 72 years old and I am now exercising every day, mostly with your videos. My balance has improved greatly. I love kickboxing 😂 I truly appreciate when you include the number of steps in your videos since I don’t have a FitBit or anything like it. I am trying to count my steps each day! I sometimes do a 30 min video in 2 or 3 segments throughout the day…seems to work better for me and keeps me energized. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your channel…so much variety and inspiration 😊 Thank you!

I really did love the workout and never felt guilty for using a chair to help to support me during the balance part. At 71 I keep trying for the balance and you make it okay to not feel defeated because I can’t do the balance part like you do. Modifying for me works and I still get a great workout that makes me feel great.
I am on a long car trip this week, and this workout is the perfect way to start and end the long days in the car! I can do this easily in my hotel room and feel great! Thank you for creating the perfect workout!

I adapted the middle section without using weights (still misplaced) by doing each movement strongly and in double time. That worked!

I found you looking for chair exercises because I didn’t want to lose my strength. I fell in love with your videos and your sweetness and I am still working out with you appreciating all of them. Another great routine. My 3rd. I didnt know if I could do the entire 30 minutes, but I did it. I wish i had the discipline to do these on a regular basis. I feel so good afterwards.

When you have a difficult time getting motivated to exercise, try to remember your own words, "I feel so good afterwards". Starting is definitely the hardest part, but just think of the feel-good effects of how you feel after and hopefully that'll help. Also remember that exercise is truly what keeps us young. The more active we are, the better off we'll be down the road. When you see older adults in wheelchairs, it's often because they stopped exercising and moving. In most cases, it could have been avoided if they had exercised throughout their lifetime. Hopefully that can keep you motivated, too:)

Hi Jules! I just finished this one and I must say, it is my new favorite! I love your workouts. After doing them for the past nine months they have helped me through my depression after the death of both of my parents in July 2023, getting through my daughters wedding and helping me to look good for that in September 2023 and continuing on now into 2024 helping me to lose more weight, gain more muscle tone and it is even helping with the pain I have from my arthritis and my neck and back issues. I actually ache more if I miss too many workouts. Thank you so much for improving my life. You have helped me more than you’ll ever know!! ❤

It’s amazing how exercise helps with so many different things. I especially like the short ones because if I’m feeling lazy I’ll choose a short one and by the time I finish , I feel like doing another one, lol! It also helps that you have so many different levels. I like the variety and the upbeat music. Your routines feel easy enough for me that I don’t dread exercising. They are easy yet very effective. 😁

We did this one this morning; definitely had to modify some moves, and sometimes go slower, but we did it.
Very challenging balance moves; hopefully we’ll get better at those.

This is an excellent session, so intelligently put together. Without being intimidated, I had a complete w/o in half an hour. The kicks at 0900-0800 were very good, as was the coordination move at 0200.

🎉 I saw, I sweated and I conquered! Had a little trouble on the last set of lateral leg scissor type exercise (multiple left hip problems),so I walked out the last 5. I listened to your suggestions AND I didn't feel bad about it Jules, I felt good for finishing the workout 💪 😊

Awesome video Jules! I wish my balance was as good. It's taking me a lot longer time to have good balance - I had a stroke in 1999 (caused by a bad chiropractor's neck adjustment). I'm still here, still alive, thank goodness, and trying my best every day to stay fit. Thank you so much for these great videos. 🥰

We tried this one again today. It’s a great workout with some really good strength and balance exercises.
By the way, this may only be a “Mary thing”, but to me the standard squats are much easier than the “easier version of “sit to stand.” It’s harder for me to get up and down out of a chair than to squat. Just an interesting tidbit I thought I’d share.
That is interesting. My guess is when you squat without the chair you might not be going down quite as far. Ask Rex and let me know:) Just be sure to press your hips back (as if sitting) and go to whatever depth works for you.
@@ImprovedHealth , I do have trouble getting up from a chair that sits “low.” I’m good at making sure my posture is correct when I do squats, and can go fairly low when I do them, but it’s just the act of actually getting up from a complete sitting position that is more difficult for me.

All in ones are my go to. This was quite hard at bits but doable. I loved the way u fitted 3 exercises into one..I mean 3 areas into one move...u r amazing. I really enjoyed the balance ones... Another success ❤❤❤❤
