- After making a necktie skirt, hold onto the "skinny ends" of the ties. There are lots of fun projects to make from the long strips and these daisy pins are easy to sew from the tips!
Upcycling thrifted ties is lots of fun.... and addicting....
Supplies:
Six coordinating neckties plus one additional contrast tie for the center.
Scissors,
Measuring Tape,
Needles,
Black Craft and Button Thread,
Thimble (optional)
One self-cover button kit size 45 (1&1/8 inches round)
Three-inch scrap of non-fusible interfacing (to cut 2&1/4-inch circle)
Compass and paper for patterns,
2-inch scrap of black velveteen or felt (to cut 1.5-inch circle)
1-inch pinback (Darice)
