Fantastic collection! I'm convinced they go through these shows frame by frame to find cars to add to the lines, no way anyone remembers these random traffic vehicles in the background. lol
Absolutely agreed. There is a great website that does the same, It is called IMCDb (Internet Movie Car Database)
7:34 the side window trim lines on that police car are all jacked up too.
Somehow I did not notice during filming, but when editing the video for CZcams I exclaimed to myself the same thing! What gives with the window trim?! LOL
I think Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller were in the movie a few years ago. I know David Soul just passed away recently. I think on January fourth, etc?

An AMC Matador police car was shown in a few episodes in the first season but most of the Bay City PD cars were Ford Custom 500's or LTD's as Ford sponsored tge show. A few Chevy cop cars were seen innthe last season.

There was an episode in which Starsky crashes the car, and Hutchinson is injured. That is probably what the weathered car represents.

I buy a lot of them off eBay sellers, or at my local hobby store, and sometimes at Walmart although selection is not good there here in my area.
