Ya my doctor didn’t tell me shit. And I went in the sun afterwards and I got a ktp laser treatment for redness. I’m afraid that being in the sun will make the hyperpigmentation worse as it creates darker skin as that’s what I went to correct in the first place.

Hi there, I started erbium laser treatment for my acne scars and my doctor told me for my home treatment to just let the skin dry out and to put Vaseline only when I really need to.. is it really a good home treatment ? Hello Doctor PLEASE, I need your help, as no one seems to give me direct concise advise on this. I began treating this crater like boxcar acne scar on my Cheek that I'm Hugely insecure about😔. It's pretty deep. One of my specialist had me do a punch excision first to remove the scar tissue 1st. The scar has looked worse than my original. I've done Co2 treatments afterwards, but I'm still unsure about the peeling skin post treatment. The thin dead skin layer after the 4 days looks promising. However I've been told not to pick this area as to not create scarring. HOWEVER I'm told to wash and keep moist with Vaseline. But when I do this it turns this dead skin layer into soft mush, Where it then comes off Super easy. Is this not in a way the same thing as picking or scrubbing? Just doing it while very moist. I'm so confused. Is this okay? Or is the goal to keep this thin layer of skin intact and let the underneath tissue heal? I can't stress how Much I would appreciate your input 🙏

How about Vit B3/ Niacinamide?
Hi, think of your skin as a wound after a laser treatment and treat it as such. For best results, keep your skin hydrated, moist, clean and protected from the sun. Gentle products that contain peptides should be your go-to. If you have had a more aggressive treatment, use emollient creams to protect the barrier of your skin and ensure that it remains hydrated. So I would recommend using skincare products with Cica, Aloe vera, Chamaecyparis obtusa leaf, Eucalyptus extract, EGF, and Hyaluronic acid. Also, you can find skincare products with these ingredients in the video description above.
I was advised to apply Betamethasone Gentamicin cream for 5 days - good enough? I followed that and reverted to my regular skincare routine on the 6th day. The only skincare product i used from day 1 was sunscreen + the betamethasone cream.

Hi, for most fractionated CO2 treatments, t usually takes about 1 to 2 weeks for your skin to heal. And treatment redness is expected to fade to a light pink and then resolve within several weeks to 2 or 3 months.
