Earlier this year Dannii ate at the place I work. On the way out she still made a point to turn her head and thank me despite the fact I didn't serve her. She was so lovely and honestly I didn't realise it was her until I saw her face properly because she was so understated and 'normal' in her demeanour. So glad this culture of bullying and degrading women is dying. You don't owe the world an apology for being young and beautiful, you do for having an ugly soul!

I can't say I care for Sharon much. Perhaps she can be a nice person, but she really does have an ugly side to her, as we see here. Let's also not forget that this was a woman who laughed and joked about a man who in the news, had his penis cut off by his wife, who then dropped it down a garbage disposal unit. And what was his crime for doing this? Saying to her that he wanted a divorce. I wonder if she would have found it so funny if the roles had been reversed and a woman had been circumcised ber her husband.

Graham has expressed that he doesn't neccesarily enjoy how catty his show used to be. And I feel the blame here mainly falls on Sharon since Graham stirring the pot was part of his persona anyway. Sharon was the one indulging and fanning the flames here.
Not sure if it's related but Kylie didn't appear on the Graham Norton Show years after this incident (she would do Jonathan Ross and Alan Carr and other talk shows except this one). Then again maybe they didn't get along anway since there's a massive gap between her first and second appearance (1998 and 2014). She has since been a regular guest.

This is actually putrid. Dannii grew up in the entertainment industry and had some great songs/disco bangers. She’s been in the industry for several decades and would be a great help to the younger generation. She’s also stunning (not that that matters) so who cares what she has or hasn’t had “done”. I usually like graham norton show and Sharon but this was just vicious bullying I’m really surprised this is on the BBC channel. Shame.

InterestingName For the most part, I don't recall him being as mean spirited on that show as he was this. Not to mention that nobody knew practically anyone he called. They were predominantly from across the Atlantic. Nobody knew who they were. Here, we have he and Sharon bitter, nasty comments about someone who as far as I can see hasn't deserved it. And I'm not huge fan of Danni while not really disliking her either.
I was a little surprised that Graham joined in with the bullying. Kylie is a regular guest on his show. I am surprised that he risked upsetting her.

Graham is being cruel here. Perhaps Dannii turned down an offer to go on his show. Dannii, talking about her first appearance as a judge on the X Factor, said Sharon entered her dressing room and screamed abuse at her, reducing her to tears just minutes before they were both due to go on. Dannii was so distraught that producers had to forcibly remove Sharon from the room.
Equally though, Sharon wrote that she had requested to see Danii that day, two hours before the show had started - to no avail. After her agent was twice unable to pull Danii aside for a few minutes, Sharon went in herself to speak to her, and admits that she was “like an Exocet missile propelled by sheer fury”, but that it was only one person who gently guided her to the exit after Danii had refused to speak.
Sharon also claims that she held a private meeting with Danii and the executive producer on The X Factor to address their issues, but that her attempt to make peace "had fallen on deaf ears" as Danii allegedly refused to co-operate.
I'm not saying that Sharon is right by any means, I'm saying that it's highly likely there's exaggerated stories on both sides. They can write whatever they want in their respective biographies and twist the facts however they like to keep their readers on their side.
@Ktc Well, presumably, like Louis Walsh, Sharon was offered a position on the judging panel because of her expertise in artist management. Danii Minogue was the first musical artist to be invited as a regular judge - many more came after. Anyway, this conflict started twelve years ago. Let it be - best not to focus on it now.

I am from Italy and when I was less than ten yrs old I remember listening always to dannii's dance songs, she was huge for a couple of yrs, while kylie was hitting the world again with fever! Kylie is my Icon, but I guess dannii is very talented too, and let be honest, it isn't easy to achieve global fame if your sister is Kylie and you do nearly the same kind of dance music! I guess dannii deserves more and more!

They can slag Dannii off all they want but the fact remains that Dannii was the ONLY judge on XFactor that actually commented on the vocals and offered constructive critisism. Everyone else just played up to the audience and focused on image. Sure she isn;t the greatest singer herself......nobody on the panel was and Dannii has had a long and highly successful career in the industry which is fact. She was my absolute favourite judge.

He didn't look too comfortable or impressed and remained silent for the most part as the pair of them verbally bashed her. Graham reverting to his former MO of publicly humiliating people on their physical imperfections to score a cheap laugh. If you're just joining us from the US ( I've noticed a lot of American viewers seem enamoured of him recently ) - this is the kind of stuff he used to pull all the time - frequently on easy targets who'd done nothing to provoke him. He's toned it down in recent years, probably to appeal to an international audience and attract bigger stars, but here's an example of him egging on someone to bully someone on national TV. Graham is a poisonous dickhead - not the cheeky-but-likeable chappie persona he's cultivated in recent years. If he was at school he'd be called a bully, plain and simple - as would Osbourne. But he's pulling the strings here.
