  • In this exciting series we'll be following the construction of Tornado Springs, a new area that's opening at Paultons Park in March 2021. Originally this new themed area was planned to open in May 2020, however this was delayed due to Covid-19. Tornado Springs will feature a variety of new rides and experiences all set within a heavily themed area based on 1950's America.
In this episode I take a closer look at The Cyclonator, the parks Zamperla Discovery that will swing out towards Storm Chaser. Along with that I look at the various different pieces of theming that have arrived on the construction site awaiting installation. I also take a look at the train track that's started to be installed through the area and much more in this action packed update!
Here at Theme Park Worldwide we look forward to working with Paultons Park throughout the entire construction phase and bringing various on site updates all the way through until the opening of Tornado Springs in March 2021.

I swear if this park added thrill coasters, perhaps a b and m wing coaster or invert, perhaps a new vekoma thrill coaster, it could be one of the best parks in the UK easily, and would have a whole new market

I think the problem is they don’t have much land available, the park is nearly full already and thrill rides take up much more space than family rides

woollen hat perhaps the theme suggests a rustic feel? Almost like it’s set on a car route where it’s aged a bit, dare I say abandoned and has only just been rediscovered so it implies it needs some TLC? Especially if a tornado has ran through it stuff would look neglected right? :)

Richard Mancey the Managing Director of Paultions was inter viewed last year as Bloolooping (an industry site) and said "A hotel might help, but it’s not something that is going to happen imminently. We prefer to focus on building the park if we’re honest, rather than being an accommodation provider. We already partner with over 30 hotels in the area, from budget properties to some really great higher end offerings. So we’re already in the accommodation business really, and as a team we work very well."

@Benjamin McCann If you look at these reviews there is never any negativity. I know of one person who went to Sea World (Orlando) they were highly critical of the park charging for lockers per ride, yet no mention here. Not that I would personally be seen dead in a Sea World.

All that rustic theming needs to be locked up, Merlin would love shit looking items for Thorpe Park and Alton Towers. That Gyroswing would be able to fit right in looking all rusty and unpainted.
Joking aside, I love how it's looking at Paultons and cannot wait to get there next year when it's all open.
