- Despite construction still happing on Tornado Spings, Paultons Park is already well underway on building another new ride, likely to be a brand new coaster.

Paultons Park: putting merlin and other British theme parks to shame.
They are doing some fantastic work! Can’t wait to see what the future holds at Paultons Park.
I think the new junior coaster will be something like Duplo Dino Coaster at Legoland Windsor however being a little bit bigger
Yeah! Definitely looks like a small coaster, but still bigger than the Duplo Dino Coaster!

This was my local park growing up :) I agree that the new ride looks like it'll be a kid-friendly one, but knowing Paultons they'll probably turn around and produce a Huss Top Spin out of nowhere one of these days
I’ve grow up with Paultons Park and it’s crazy how much the park has changed over the years! I’m very jealous that I didn’t have theses new crazy rides growing up, haha. 😛

Great update again Luke, Paultons have big plans for the next few years and it’s great to see the pandemic hasn’t slowed down further investment. This is the park to watch!.... imagine how it will look in another ten years.

Interesting stuff. Personally I think the coaster will be a bigger Duplo Dino Coaster. Its insane how early they are starting construction, if this is the 2022 investment. Paultons probably want to theme it very well like they always do!

This park is really on fire. I am looking forward to next year. I think all queue lines should have queue time boards and the staff work hard to keep to those times to ensure guest experience is fantastic.
They are doing so well! Definitely think the queue time boards are a good investment in the long run.

I actually think an S&S 4D freespin would work well at Paultons. Because they use magnetic fins to induce flips, they could have one side where the seats don't flip (for families) and one side where they do spin (for thrill seekers). Not to mention they're fairly cheap.
I think depending on how well the new gyro swing performs with crowds/demand, it could definitely effect what future rides they build!
Great update and I’m looking forward to the new documentary. Interesting prediction for the new ride, it looks like a very small footprint so maybe they could build an inside ride? Although it looks like one I would rather they didn’t build a roller coaster as they already have quite a few.

Nice update, I could see that a junior spinning coaster would be a good choice, for those not brave or big enough for Storm Chaser. Will you be going back in December to check on construction progress?
Thanks Chris! 🤗 I definitely think it will be a small kiddie coaster, it would help balance the area nicely in terms of attractions for all ages.
I’ve actually just booked to go during December! Don’t think I’ll be doing another dedicated Tornado Springs update, but I might do one if the new ‘project/coaster’ has progressed well! I’ll definitely be posting updates/pictures on the day via Twitter!
I don't think it's necessarily a junior coaster however if they did go that route, it would be a Mack Powered Coaster as they already have Dino Chase and Cat O Pillar so the park would offer a different experience to existing rides.
However it could as easily be a compact coaster i.e. Mack Big Dipper or Vekoma Bermuda Blitz
One ride that would be perfect for the area and park would be a Vekoma Mine Train.
I know it's early days and it could easily be a water ride, dark ride or flat ride as much as a coaster at this stage.
Interesting ideas! Hopefully after this investment they will look at adding in a water ride/dark ride. I definitely think they are missing theses rides in the theme park’s line up.
Do you think there'll ever be a ride at paultons with inversions.
I wonder of this could be for a dark ride? Some dark ride use coaster-like hardware, to the point some are credits. I would assume it make sense to put in the footers before erecting the show building.
Sadly, I don’t think it will be. The construction site is very small and wouldn’t fit a dark ride. I do think they should invest some money to build a dark ride in the future! 🤞
Who remembers captain bloods cabin I think it was called.. Many many years ago.
Close It was captain bloods caven where the magic forest was it would be awesome to see them bring it back maybe In a themed land with pirates ect
