I ask " Do you have any Spiritual Beliefs " and that is a Great Starting point...Then I share what JESUS has done for ME!!
Having a heart for people is Key. If they don't know Jesus, they're heading the wrong way. Compassion and a desire to introduce them to Jesus is a great start. Being genuinely interested in their eternal welfare will communicate what words cannot.

Love it ....today I strike up a coversation at a lumber yard to a guy helping me....I picked up a piece of lumber looking on it to see if it was straight and guoted a psalm that say " there is a way that seem straight to a man but the end thereof leads to death " and shared the gospel with him !!
But the cleverness is not in the illustration, but the power is in the Gospel.

Same brother. Ask for guidance from the Holy Spirit. Sometimes people just don’t like hearing about the Lord but it’s always good to try and plant a Seed.
You and most Western Christians, I think. We are not given examples of 'gossiping the gospel' as the first Christians did. The video presumes a Christian-saturated US culture; it is now less and less so. Most people on campuses would not even know who Jesus of Nazareth was. So you need 'lead in' probes to get to a spiritually relevant spring point. Any CRT issue can work as this, almost any politics (e.g. "Progressives, I think they are getting a lot of things wrong, but I really think they are trying to make things better..." or word it however your politics are. Aim is to get to talking about some 'good v evil' issue, then onto the ineradicable fact of evil through history, no matter what...if you can branch into modern slavery that would be good, then you can talk about the Christian basis for anti-slavery movements...from there you can go to reasons for believing God exists, reasons for accepting that Jesus was a great prophet who rose from the dead and is thus more than a great prophet....world is your oyster. You don't have to get to 'the gospel' straight up, just need to find a crack in their world view and plant a seed.
@@dagwould The only thing about the bible that really gets to me is leviticus 25:45 where it says that the jews could enslave women and children and own them as property. If someone brought that up I dont know how I would respond
@@marlonticas5215 That was James Whites' point...they don't want to hear, only God can awaken their heart.
Every day ask the Lord to use you. And expect that he will. Memorize verses like Romans 3:23 and 6:23, John 3:16 etc. That way you can recall them easily when the time comes. Sounds silly but try practicing in front of a mirror how you would share your faith. Above all rely on the Holy Spirit.
Also: Practice and Modeling: We go out onto the streets of London every week with a small team and invite Christians who've never shared the Gospel to come with us and see how we share Jesus with total strangers. After a short while with us, almost everyone gets the courage to begin a conversation. We use a lot of humour and listen more than we speak. If the response is warm we try to arrange a follow-up visit for a chat over coffee in a cafe.
I need this!! I need to be discipled because I feel like i dont even know where to start? God has impresssed on my heart to share, but Lord forgive me, I feel shy. I am not ashamed, God has changed my life and is my savior, but how do i share with a total stranger
1. Ask questions about the person and their Beliefs
2. Introduce subject of this Gospel
3. Share your own Testimony
But how do you walk up to a stranger and ask them about their beliefs?
@@johnpolasky8756 small talk, give them a compliment, find something visual you both have in common and begin from there than see if the Holy Spirit guides you to share the gospel. Prior to encountering someone pray that the holy spirit will prepare their hearts for you.

@april1st183 if you aren't feeling led to then yes. But the holy spirit will tell you. If that person is meant to hear it the Lord will open up that door :)

Bridge questions - "has anyone ever shared with you what the bible teaches on how we becomes a true christian" , "in your personal opinion, what do you think makes a person a christian?" - that second question is very poignant because of the culture in the US thinking "evangelicals" is synonymous with Christian, and sadly now it is not.

This is excellent advice when witnessing to a stranger. One must first approach one as being friendly in nature and non aggressive and continue with the next 2 steps from there. Thank you as much!

Hey I'm scared. I said it. I don't want to be scared to share the gospel. Romans 1:16 convicts me. I want to change but I can't in my own strength! I don't want to leave people to die! I don't want to lead them to hell because I was tok afraid to say something! This is all very heavy on me now cause for a long while i got stuck in thinking it's okay God will send another. God brought to my mind Jonah. Jonah was Nineveh's only chance before they would be decimated. Jonah ran, but God brought him to shore and had Him obey. Jonah preached like 7 words and was angry God made him go. I don't want to be like Jonah and resist God. I don't want to be grumpy and preexh cause I'm forced to. But I'm also so scared to because I'm a people pleaser! It's my weakness. God help me and other like me please?

Repentance is the translation of a Greek word 'metanoia-metanoeo,' meaning 'a change of mind,' and is used in the New Testament to indicate a change of mind concerning sin, self, and of God. Every person has sinned (Romans 3:23) and is in danger of eternal punishment. (2 Thessalonians 1:8) The Gospel: Christ shed His blood and died on the cross for our/your/my sins, was buried, and rose again. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Colossians 1:20) Upon trusting the Gospel a person is sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13), and receives forgiveness of sins and eternal life. (Acts 26:18) Also read Romans 6:14; Ephesians 4:30; Galatians 5:16-17.

I agree with Bluenoser71170; social media is super easy to post on, you can simply do a FB post--PLEASE, not the 'if you are ashamed of Jesus you won't share this--rolling my eyes and croaking! Post a short youtube video, all this is easy, but talking one on one to someone? I think most of us can use help in that area.
I had somebody told on FB that religion and politics weren't allowed to be spoken of on social media.
I haven't watched the video but I know the title should be, How to INTRODUCE the gospel to a stranger. Many Christians have favorite verses they think encapsulate "the gospel". I have no desire to argue with them. But a second definition of the gospel is the story of the life of Jesus - including his birth, his parables, his sermons, his conversations, his trial, his crucifixion, his resurrection and his ascension. That's more than you should try to give a stranger on a first encounter. Then there is the consideration that if Jesus is the great I am - as he claimed to be - every thus saith the Lord from the Hebrew Bible is part of his teaching. So the question is whether we can learn enough about a stranger to have some idea of which kind of introduction to the gospel will encourage him to want to learn more - and still more - until the veil between the seen and the unseen is lifted and he can learn from Jesus face to face.
Just asking a simple question like," Can I ask you a question? What are your thoughts on the afterlife?" This can open the door to sharing Christ. Generally most people have an opinion on this and want to talk about it. Step out in faith. Take a risk. No longer live life for yourself. Remember someone did this for you.

Having faith that Jesus is who he says he is and that he died for our sins and God raised him from the dead, confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and accepting him into your heart and life so that you are sealed with the Holy spirit unto salvation, because the word of God is truth, love, peace and harmony, if you die in your sin you will have to pay with your soul in hell but Jesus already paid it all by his blood on the cross so that we can have a choice of having eternal life full of love with God our creator, our Father.

Interesting how many in this thread say, "Thank you" to Dr. White and then go on to demonstrate how they didn't get his point by pointing to what they do in introducing the Gospel.

Heavenly Father, I am not exactly sure what Jimmy is going through in his life, but he needs You. I pray that you would open his heart to recieve the gospel message so that he realizes that he needs to repent of his sins and trust that Jesus died on the cross so that he could be forgiven. I pray that you would guard him against whatever evil the enemy is planning against him, and I pray that his heart would be open to receive whatever You are trying to tell him, and help him to know that You are always with him. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I, unless i get a word of knowledge, normally start with the fall. "Just look around you, wars, sicknesses, death, egoism, lusts, manipulation, etc, etc. Where you think that came from? That is the fall of man. We live in a fallen world. But now the good part. God stooped down as Christ to give us back the divine life mankind lost in the fall. Freely, by His Spirit. Because He loves what He created us to be. Do you want to become a new creation? A partaker of the divine nature again?".
If they say: Yes. I ask Holy Spirit to come and take them in as a son or daughter, change them in to their original identity, make them Christlike again for free.
Some get healed instantly, or wobly on their feet, or demons come out, but the look in their eyes afterwards says it all. Innocense.
If they say: "no" or, "get lost you morron"? No problem. God loves them. They may come around later.
Just touching and speaking truth to people in love.
Especcially Christians have a hard time with this. They are so trained in why God hates, doesn't heal, whatever. Whatever. God is love, God is the Spirit of Life, He is the Healer and now.... in us!
It is the simplicity of the Gospel: Christ in us for free. Yay!

Relationship is the sum of the three he pointed out. Without forming a relationship any type of gospel sharing is useless.
That is a good point - being relational is key, even in sharing with a stranger.
What will happen to the people who have never heard the gospel? Do they go to hell after they die?

No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care! Learn a number of methods to present the gospel good news, to have a number of lures available for you to use to be a Fisher of men. Yet, do not tell of the gospel to one who has not eaten in 3 days, or has not slept in a number of days, or the stench of living has overtaken them. Take care of these physical needs first for they will drown out all you claim in love with your mouth, if not. Then just be obedient to Christ. Be His witness! Acts 1:8. Do not worry or expect certain results for that is Christ's. A very wise man said this: " Obedience never seeks results, obedience to Christ, simply seeks to be obedient." Then Jesus said, " If you love Me you will obey My commandments. " John 14:15..... Well....Do We?

What is the gospel to be shared? It can't be about salvation.
The gospel is talking about how Jesus Christ died for us as payment for our sins so that we can spend eternity with Him, which is salvation. So, it really is about salvation. Idk if I answered your question, but have a good rest of your day 😊

The good news Jesus is talking about is Himself coming down to Earth to save us. What are you saying the gospel is?

It's the kingdom of God, not the salvation through Jesus. When the kingdom of God is preached 24:14 he will return. As long as Christianity preaches Christ, it helps Satan prevent the return of Christ, with a false gospel, that should be according to Christ.

Don't share your testimony. Christianity is not a subjective 'feelings' based thing. Share why you accept that Jesus resurrected, the NT is reliable, that God is. Plenty of rational grounds for each of these.
