I wasn't sure which white would best match Gray Owl, it was really nice to see my top 3 whites next to it. I think I lean more towards the two warmer whites since I have a North facing room, I'm hoping it won't come off too cool with Gray Owl (waiting for my samples to come in) to compare it against the different lighting throughout the day and in the evening light. I like the way it looks in photos and I do not see the blue undertone. Its my new years resolution choice to paint my depressing gray/yellow walls [I inherited]
Hi Keisha. There are countless grays that would work with those colours, but of course you need to have everything placed together in order to see which would work the best. There are so many things to consider overall, that I can't simply list one or two gray colours and know for sure that they will work. Thinking to paint my open concept wall Swiss Coffee trim and ceiling with Chantilly Lace with my Gray owl cabinets do you think this colours goes well together?
I am using Gray Owl in my open living room/dining room. I picked out Decorator's White for trim, but now I'm not sure. Is Chantilly Lace a better option?
Hi Rebecca. Personally I have not used Decorator's White. Any of the 3 options I listed in the video will definitely work with Gray Owl though, just depends on any other whites you have in your fixed and soft elements.
Have you ever used Chantilly Lace on the walls and Gray Owl as a trim: being the opposite that you had mentioned here? Chantilly Lace on the walls/trim together I think would look too blended for me. Do you recommend a door colour the same as the walls or the trim? Thanks for these videos.
I love the idea of switching it up Michael, but just be aware that you may need to do this throughout the house or knowing where to stop without it looking odd, could be tricky.

Some good medium grays for exterior paint is Benjamin Moore's Kendall Charcoal HC-166, Storm AF-700 or for a slightly warmer option you could go with Chelsea Gray HC-168
Another point I would love your view on is feature or accent walls I have a fairly open concept but there is a tall skinny cathedral wall separating g the kitchen from dining room living room. I don’t want choppy but have my fireplace wall in dark grey but feel like the cathedral wall really needs to be the star. Rest of the walls are simply white. Is it too much to make that wall an a. Ent too and do you have suggestions?
With accent walls, I always stress that the main point to consider is what are you 'accenting'. A pretty fireplace is a great place to do an accent wall and draw attention to it - if it is needed. For example, check out this link of a clients living room where we did a Hale Navy accent wall. The fireplace is simple and contemporary, plus we had a fountain feature above in a black frame that really stood out. So the dark blue allowed the fountain to be less 'in your face' yet give the room a bold look with the dramatic dark blue accent wall. -->clairejefford.com/portfolio/gallery/alexander-court/ My other rule though is not to have too many accent walls or 'stand out' features. If I see an accent wall in every room, it definitely loses its' appeal. Hope that helps!

We are painting our home grey owl and the kitchen cabinets hale navy with mayonnaise white trimming by Benjamin more I might change it to the dove 😩

I'm not familiar with those finishes, so be sure to check the paint colour with the to ensure it works well.
