i made myself some leg armour but it just didnt look good whatsoever so i decided to follow your cardboard cutouts and i made some stuff easier to connect instead of using buckle straps (i only used it in my upper armour and 2 in each leg) this was defienetly the best armour video youve made. the upper armour videos dont really look good for me personally. but its alright as i know alot of people like that type.
I got a question I've been watching your videos for a long time and I really enjoy the content but when I make the thigh plates they always fall down how do you keep them up.?
The first way to fix that is you use elastic strap or just regular strap and glue them to the front and back and then they go over your shoulders like suspenders or they go up to a belt look up late 14th century knight armor suit up and it shows you exactly how they put it on
The only thing I have to say about it is that the couters are too large, maybe decrease their diameter by an inch? But other than that, it’s a brilliant piece of armour, just make sure it hangs from a belt!
My favorite aesthetic is mounted knights, even though I own no horse I still like the pauldrons and large couters that they wear. That’s why they are that size.
Wooo 😮 yeah that’s what I was looking for 😊 from the start 👍🏻 and I will go to warmest and get those cardboard and make an armor and I love to see the fight
Great vid, probably the best beginner friendly tutorials ive seen on youtube on armour. Definitely keep it up. (Side note, are you aware of compression armour and how to make it? They are very flexible and completely protective, unlike the ones you've made for your back knee. Not a lot of tutorials on those on youtube)
