Thank you guys so much for 8000 subscribers. It has been exactly 5 years since I uploaded my first video ever finally being able to show the world, my cardboard creations and creativity and being able to inspire all of you guys to do the same! So here is my skit, which is Pacific Rim themed of course can’t go wrong with one of the best sci-fi movies ever made!!!

Thank you so much this is my all time favroite helmet and i did make the neck piece AKA beaver and it was actually pretty easy so guys just make little strips of cardbored and put it on your neck and take it off then glue it where you neck is and try not to glue it to your neck please

How do you make the cardboard bend like that?
I cut slits on the ends and edges and then glue them back together, so it pulls the cardboard and shrinks the surface volume, so it makes a contoured shape check out my night armor videos. I better explain it there.

Mr.Mark what that you wrapping with wet paper your helmet was kinda took easy to dry
So for these helmets, I was experimenting and used the same flower water mixture, but I just used paper towels instead of newspaper strips. Now these helmets were nice and easy to make but they definitely were weaker, but that’s all I needed because they were going to be in the knight skits I made
@@MarksWorkshopcrft I dont use paper towel was easy get rip off. How about use a bandage is that suppose to easy to dried. Sir
@channelmrray7916 yes do that, news paper strips are also a great option.. and I like my mixture on the watery side but to much water will not make it rigid

Its incredible how many small channels have had the exact content I have been looking for lately. First it was a normal keep build in minecraft that no one had videos on and now card board power armor.

Hi! I saw a giant cardboard mech and I noticed it was taller than the other people by alot I was wondering how this was possible
Yeah! I use any kind of block platform to stand on, I definitely overdid the feet on these legs by filling cardboard tubes with drywall compound, I should have done like wood blocks or even better foam blocks with angles so I could walk on them better…

I struggle on the eye slits cuz I cant cut it smooth
@@alchemist91 well maybe try doing the bottom half where your nose and mouth are separately than the forehead and then you can just use scissors and a knife to cut rectangles where your eyes are then when you glue the second half on top, you’ll have a smooth eye slit
