      You have clearly learned a lot more about CZcams since these early videos. Nice work though.

    do use POE 24v for one camera DS-2CD2532F or where buy an POE 12v

      +BRISLI LOPEZ Any POE Switch or POE injector will work so don't worry about 12 or 24 volts. IP Cameras will auto negotiate the power it requires from a network switch. A typical camera will requires 15 Watts. However if you don't have a POE Switch you can still power this camera or most IP camera from a external power supply.

    Hi just wondering if you have any videos on how to run the cables from the exterior and to the interior of your home? Also where do you terminate the cables inside your home?

    • @DIYCreators
      @DIYCreators  Před 8 lety

      +banggooooo I don't Have any at the moment showing how to wire it from outside to inside. On my security training channel you can see this video click this link czcams.com/video/ueVtB9704oo/video.html This could give you some idea on how its done. As far as my cable goes I built a custom box in the garage which is where all my cable runs to.

    I got ve this camera hooked to my Hikvision NVR 7732NI-16, but I can't get audio from it. I have it hooked through ethernet cable. Do I need to do anything else to get audio, or should it work just by plugging in the ethernet cable alone..

    What RJ-45 Crimpers/Cutters did you use for the termination/cutting? Thanks in advance!

    Do these have enough adjustment so you can vertically mount them e.g on a wall, and still be able to look downwards?

    Are you crazy? You replace a Pan and Tilt command for that? You can’t remote Pan/Tilt with this one. 😔

    • @stevenlarson6125
      @stevenlarson6125 Před 5 lety +1

      Pan Tilt only works if there is someone there to do it. It's useless for a location that has no operator. Also, as someone who does a lot of surveillance knows.. invariably, when you want to review an incident, someone has turned the camera somewhere other than where the action was. A stationary camera will always be set for the same field of view. A pan/tilt would be good only if you have a monitored system with an operator who needs to look around, and an area of interest that is larger than the field of view of the camera

    hi is this connected via an nvr or directly via the poe switch to the internet

    • @DIYCreators
      @DIYCreators  Před 9 lety

      +Aamer Malik this setup is a stand alone, its connected to a POE Switch and port forward to be visible on the internet. I will be doing an NVR setup soon.
