What's your favourite Milton pun?
"You can't, Beatrice..."
"Why is no one else dressed up? Oh, you said dress 'low-key'".
"Once I hit a black widow. The next thing I know, I wasn't allowed near Winnie Mandela."
Anything that starts, “My other grandpa…” after he has named two grandpas…
Actually, I did like…
“I met a girl when I was in America. I said ‘What’s your name?’ She said ‘Chantelle.”, I said “Alright, I was only asking your name.”
My favourite thing about Milton is that he always looks like he just woke up!
Milton’s humour is incredible, no profanity, just a twisted wit
"from the makers of timbuk-one" is by far the funniest set of jokes ever
You mean ' "from the makers of" set of jokes is by far the funniest set of jokes ever [to me] "
Jill_Of_Trades : I mean I guess, if you’re gonna rip my sentence apart like that
@@Jill_of_trades "From the makers of" doesn't encapsulate the specific joke format in question. The joke is 'words ending in the _two_ sound.'
If you're going to be a pedant, then at least do it properly. Jill with an opinion on all trades, but with mastery and understanding of none.
Milton's series of puns are matched by Hugh's about that dentist shooting that lion.
I kinda wish he’d left the first one at
‘from the makers of Cocka One *SQUAWK SQUAWK*’
I love how Milton, as he walks up to the microphone, always has this expression like "I have no idea who I am or what I'm doing here". :D
I once came up with a play on a word. Therapist which if you said in broken English would be The Rapist.
@@jaggass SNL beat you to it in one of their Jeopardy sketches
This look is also known as the Ozzy Osbourne look.
It's like he's in a trance until the second he grabs the mic.
Milton is the only person to make Hugh laugh every time
Most underrated comedian going
.... Said the lighthouse keeper.
Living proof that puns are not the lowest form of humour.
Definitely, he’s genius.😂
Milton makes me stop feeling ashamed that I have a 4-year long list of self-made puns written on my phone to use at opportune moments.
never understood that expression, they're literally the highest form of humour
He is the super sayian of dad joke energy.
Milton Jones' jokes are not the lowest form of humour.
Molten Core jokes are the lowest form of humour.
Milton Jones. The man, the myth, the legend.
Surely the man, the myth, the foot?
The cockatoo joke was a great opener.
Who doesn't love Milton?
So are the upvotes for your comment people saying they don't love Milton?
Rogaine salesmen.
LOOOOOOVE Milton
His wife by the sounds of it
Dumb people.
Was lucky enough to see him live a few years ago, one of the funniest nights of my life
I saw him a year or so ago. He came out dressed as the Uk and began taking bits off. He was awesome.
Don't know why but the "Footloose" gag really made me laugh
He has an amazingly quick wit. Most underrated comic around. Where does he get those shirts. Ha ha
I think he singlehandedly supports Hawai'i's gross domestic product income with his stylish shirts!! 🍍🌺🩳🌴🥥
I have been a fan of his for years, ever since seeing him at a comedy gig when he came to my uni (before he was famous). In fact, I somehow acting as an administrator over what is now his official Facebook page - at the time it only had a couple of hundred followers.
When he first came to mock the week, I was delighted. But, to be honest, he reused so many of his jokes that I'd seen in his gig. And I'd actually downloaded a recording of one of his gigs, which I listened to loads of times, so had heard the jokes many times already.
To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. He's clearly very funny, but knowing his old material so well, it was a bit of a let down - rather than seeming quick witted, he seemed like he was just rehashing his old stuff.
To be fair, they all do in certain rounds - yiu expect that. But when it comes to regular "banter" parts of the show, you expect some kind of fresh/topical humour.
He's still really funny, and great for the stand up elements of the show, and certainly improved for the other areas of the show as the years have gone by. But I get the feeling he is at his best with a polished, well-thought out material.
That being said, he was heckled when I saw him at uni and I'm not sure I've ever seen someone handle a heckler so brilliantly!
What is so amazing about Milton is his hair. In every clip it's "arranged" differently, no mean feat, considering.
I just love his out of left field remarks, that completely flummox the panellist's current conversations. A great comedian! 👍
Where was his most legendary 'Beatrice' pun for 'Unlikely lines from a cookery show?' For an on-the-spot joke, that was pretty epic!
"Any Scottish people here? You can go!"😁
We're trying to
@@sithdowell3788 *A minority are
@@gerner5376 An increasing majority are.
Fixed that for you 😊
sith dowell “at least we’ll be done with your drunken arguing” - fixed that for you
@@batters4718 At least we'll be done with your self-destructive brexit.
There. Fixed it for you.
The jokes which are reliant on the onscreen image don't work when you blur out the onscreen image.
I'm sure there's all kinds of very fun and interesting legal reasons that the images are blurred, but perhaps just don't include the punchline if you can't include the set up?
Likewise, the jokes around 3:00 ("Jack Goes Strawberry" and the stuff about being a vegan) that only makes sense if you saw Romesh's piece beforehand.
Yeah this channel is very much the "in joke" channel of CZcams lol
Milton operates on a different level. And he always just looks like he's only gotten out of bed to do this
“And my OTHER grandfather…”
I love Milton!!!!! He is just so witty and fast!! Always delivers!!! Always makes me laugh!!!🦔🦔🦔
"I tried to impress a girl once by putting my foot down on the pedal, turns out she'd seen a bin open like that once before!"
Fucking genius 😂😂
#SAFEMOON
I can't wait to try that new computer OS from that company that made Ubun One
Milton you are a genius with words
"Any Scottish people here? You can go." Only Milton Jones can get away with that.
I think he's hilarious! Never fails to make me laugh. Love his grandad routine.
Natasha Kerplunksky 😂
Milton's Mantra: 🎶 It's my destiny to be the King of Pun 🎶
Brilliant as always!
Such a deliciously light tinge of darkness to the edge of his comedic brilliance...
alright mate settle down
I loved the opening to the vet section.
how many people have gone in to a charity shop and looked at the shirts, and say to yourself I think Milton's been here
Milton is awesome! I can't distinguish him being serious or joking
Milton Jones is my favourite number one comedian at all times.
I love this joke, I used to put my foot down on the pedal too, but at least I can't drive any more, lmao, xxxx
You know you're good when Romesh cracks.
Milton rocks.
Milton is a superb comedian! I love his timing and baffled expressions!! 👍
Love this guy
He's a gem
Love him!
“AWOL ... a *owl*🦉!”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Milton is the absolute best.....wonderful bizarre stuff!
And what great taste in shirts, my 2nd favorite in my collection I got after seeing him wear it on here.
Football one is my favourite
From the makers of comedy…… Milton Jones. He’s just unique in his own special way isn’t he. Just how many granddad’s does he have?
Four, but they were very very busy
Strange and delightful!
LOOOOOVE Milton
I think Milton's best moments are Beatrice joke in series 15. But his baby ghost joke will still be the best.
A Scotsman watching from Ireland
From the makers of Cocka one, argh argh, Cocka two! Hahahahahahahaahaa
I love you, Milton!
Pointless including picture round when you have to hide the picture!
3:32 omg 😄😂😂
Some jokes just diabolical but, he screams character, love him.
"Look! An ancient African city!
From the makers of Timbuk one..."
Genius!
So here's the thing: he's smart, he's funny, he's a delightfully odd duck...and I find him absolutely adorable!!
How can this be the best of if you’ve blurred out half the photos he’s commenting on!?
Very funny man
He is definitely nucking futs.
So funny. There was a big mock the week video of his stuff but seems to have vanished
love this man would imagine ti would be so hard to follow him, not me would be so hard to keep a straight face.
1:20 his laugh!!!!!
has anyone else written a few of these jokes into their phone? for that crazy night when you want to be THE LEGEND?
Apparently just you..🤣🤣🤣
The mangetout (spelling) is the best
I actually don't get it, can you explain it?
@@the_Giovanni_Jian it's a type of bean
@@the_Giovanni_Jian It's the unlikely sequel to the equally unlikely movie called "Mange one"
Milton is so funny!!!
Why is the image censored at 0:17?
Abba's greatest hit's well a list of assassinations by former Palastinian leader Mahmoud Abbas was a good one.
Whats with the blurred out images?
genius
If only Frankie was there to hear the Scottish joke.
Milton Jones is the new Tommy Cooper
Why the pixelated photos
It's never quite as funny when someone has to explain it to you, but I've been trying to figure out 1:13 for a few minutes now. Looking up the transcript didn't help. Is it a UK thing?
The scene was unlikely movie trailers. His next line would've been Mange tout (two). Mange one being a prequel.
Why the blur
Could someone explain the monge-one joke?
It's a pun on mange-tout (a type of bean, sounds like mange two). He was on a streak of puns about movie sequels (hence the cocka-one and cocka-two joke).
Note to MTW, caption jokes work better with the picture, why are you censoring something you own the right to broadcast already? lol
The one about leaving Great Britain works on more levels than most people realise. Great Britain is the name of the mainland (great as in large). Not the nation itself.
If 'None' is the answer, what is the question? - 'If 2 of the opening 3 gags are censored to point of ruining said gags, what's the fucking point?!'
This was published on my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary. Friday 09th August 2019
MATTHEW ILES 🤷♂️
Not so good with the blurred images.
I'm too slow for his wit
I didn't get the joke that starts at 1:27
think about it will come to you - sometimes you have to think outside the square.
My other grandfatheeeeer...
A one liner Milton Jones would never do. ''Jane Tomlinson she ran herself into the ground didn't she?''
They're making jokes about a picture, and you blur the picture. That's literally the point of visual gags. the... visual...
Jack goes Strawberry????
@pocketjohnson Aha.... that makes sense! Thanks!
Ramesh during the previous skit talking about trying to teach his kid to read, the example was his kid read the page as Jack goes strawberry because he was just guessing the words, funny in the original skit too but Milton reused it equally funny.
I don't get the "Jack goes strawberry" joke?
Its from romeshs joke earlier about his kid reading words that aren't in the book
These jokes based on the picture don’t work if you can’t see the photo! 🤦🏼♂️
Why is there censoring on this video? It's wierd.
Does he secretly hate the scottish?
Must have been pre-2016 when MtW was funny.
I love Milton , he is a comedy icon , he always makes people laugh even without any swear words . I do watch comedians like all of them on Mock The Week , live at the apollo ect . But I feel that when most comedians write scripts, material and most of the jokes can be very repetitive and it's quite annoying sometimes. Like Brendan O ' Carrol with mrs Browns boys and hes been using the same script for many years . I'm not giving any comedians any hate , it's just my view on comedy these days. It would be better if they just scrap their old jokes and write something new and exciting to talk about :)
10fps rip 💀
blurring the picture makes the joke kinda pointless
well not being able to see the subject kinda ruins the jokeXD
And yet again the Legal department sucks the joy out of the room by blurring out the photos that are the setups for the jokes, thus making the jokes meaningless.
At least replace the photos with maybe a charcoal sketch or BBC costume drama re-enactment or something that would let us know just what Milton was being so funny about.
Very odd and unprofessional pixelated photos done in a way that looks like it was edited by a high school student.
