Any excuse to take a drive in the Ford GT is a good one, especially through the roads of the Eifel Mountains surrounding the Nurburgring with plenty of twisty sections to enjoy. With the Ford GT being desperately impractical, in terms of both nowhere to put anything in the tiny cabin, and also being very low and wide, it's far from the ideal car to attempt going through a Drive Thru.
However, it has frequently been pointed out that my Ford GT's colours with the body in Liquid Red and the stripes in bespoke Mann Gold look uncannily like the colours of McDonald's and even ketchup and mustard. As such, it's been inevitable that at some point it would have to make a visit to the Golden Arches. I choose the spec as a tribute to the Alan Mann Racing team with their iconic livery and am still delighted with the choices I made on a car that's a truly special, permanent Shmeemobile.
With the challenges to order in German, avoid the kerbs, keep the BBS FI-R wheels safe, and reach out across a wide sill, there's something less than ideal about this choice. In light hearted spirit, it's certainly a big of fun to match up the colours and use the wing as a picnic table; even if the visit is very CZcamsr cliche.
It has to be said though, every time I drive the GT I'm reminder how special it is, and after putting in a few laps on the Ring, pushing on down the Autobahn, and a day at the Hockenheimring, it's been absolutely amazing to get it back out and about again.

Any chance of doing a vid of comparing your cars to a say normal focus 1.8. many of us will never have the chance to ride in these amazing cars and seeing a drag race against what alot of us are used too might give us some prospective of how quick these cars really are , just an idea ?

Peugeot is the sensible one, i30N is the naughty one.
I personally wouldn't go for the i30N Fastback, cause I think the car gets a not so good looking back, in comparison to the normal i30N

The GT has to have the quickest rise/lower system on any supercar there is. It's so friggen fast!.
I must say, the Acrapovich exhaust has transformed that car....it truly sounds awesome!
I learned to drive in Canada with my dad's brand new 1960 Ford Galaxie 500 4 doors one of the widest production cars ever made I am sure it would never fit an McD's drive-thru. I never found out due to the fact McD's never opened in my home town until 1967 and by that time my dad sold the car and bought a 67 Vauxhall Corsa.... kinda gives away my age. Thank God for PPF on GT on the WING!!!

Hi Shmee. This car is a masterpiece, this engine sounds incredible, specially with the new exaust. Lots of people complaining about the lack of V8 engine, but this V6 sounds better than most V8 IMO.
