Is it though?
I mean, this is a great video, but it's not a review. Image quality looks like ass on allmost all of these superzooms. Every mid-high end Smartphone achieves much higher image quality and where was this touched on here?
The only Bridge cameras worth using for everything but stalking and extreme edge cases that puts the whole zoom range in one body is the Sony RX10 III / IV unless you need to safe a buck.
I wanted to see the view through the actual cameras. This was more like one video with only the Nikon p1000 showing what the max of each would be. This doesn't show much as far as comparisons go. Was hoping to see actual pic differences for color and clarity etc. Should rename it too camera zooms explained. Would be a much more fitting title.
wouldn't it be better to shoot all with the correct cam? That distance was made all with the Nikon. Impressive, but I do not think, the Quality of the other cams are well described...
I just got the Nikon Coolpix B700 camera and it’s a great camera. It works great for me and I don’t have to buy a lot more lenses. Great video. ❤❤❤

So simply done yet so informative. SO much better than other reviewers zooming at something 6 kilometers away and then bitching about atmospheric interference and/or haze. I'm betting 99% of zoom camera users are zooming in at something within your 50 meter range most of the time. (Birds, wildlife, kids, pets, etc.) Excellent presentation.

Question: how can you tell the distance of your zoom while recording??
I have a p950, and wish itd show me how much zoom i use while shooting.
Maybe P1000 can show it 😅... since he used only that camera in this horrible "review". How it's possible there are not change of expo, color, jump in the video if (like he says) he compared differents camera zoom?

And image quality does not matter? What is the point of comparing just the focal length using the P1000? This is not a camera comparison, as the title promises. Image quality seems to differ quite a bit between these cameras, as I've seen in other videos, not always favoring the P1000. Would alse be interesting for comparing the cameras with shorter max focal length.

I have Nikon P 900 Which as the same zoom as the P950 but the 950 as a few more upgrades on the software.😂

Excellent video, especially for someone like me who ain't got a clue which camera to buy.
I thought about the P1000 but once I've shown my kids images of the moon I'm worried I might never use that huge zoom again and waste money.
Now do a 2022 camera zoom comparison

sony hx 60 by cutting mega pix to 5 from 20 will increase zoom and give great pictures of the moon /at a fraction of the cost of nikon p 1000.
