You're not wrong! In my opinion both are very much iconic, personally the first scene that comes to mind when I think of Thor Ragnarok I think of "He's a friend from work" but it also reminds me of the scene you listed as well which is personally my top favourite MCU scenes.

My favorite scene. It showed his true character, and why he was worthy of wielding Mjolnir. That scene alone, and Tony's sacrifice in Endgame, proved both of them wrong during their exchange in the Avengers. Everything special about Steve did not come from a bottle, and Tony was a hero.

I think in the Thor the Dark World the best part was definitely when it turns out that Loki didn’t actually betray Thor like when Thor’s arm came back because it was all fake
For me it's when Loki is in his cell and grieves Freya. Thor sees through his illusions. Also her funeral was so beautiful

Age of Ultron's most iconic scene has got to be each of the avengers attempting to lift Thor's hammer. It's funny, it sees the characters lay back and have fun for the first time, and sets up an epic moment in Endgame.
The vision birth scene is without a doubt the best scene in AoU. When thor throws him hurtling through the air then he just stops himself infront of the glass my jaw dropped.

That moment made me cry so hard! No lies. The fact that they finally got their dance. He lived two lives, but I’m proud he got his happy ending.
There are so many peak scenes in Endgame, I can never fault anybody for picking a different one. I tell people my favorite scene from that movie is whichever one is on my TV at the moment.

I love Luis! In the 2nd film, I knew what was going to happen as soon as they said they were gonna give him the "truth serum". I knew he'd never shut up. Ha ha! (Then again, Lois McMaster-Bujold wrote the same quirky reaction to "truth serum" into her iconic protagonist Miles Vorkosigan. So my brain immediately said to me "OH NO. He's gonna react like Miles does, isn't he???")
When my man started prattling about abstract expressionist art at the end, and how much he loved the Mark Rothko painting, that _killed_ me!

Oh come on! I know it’s popular to hate on Age of Ultron (for reasons I can’t even pretend to understand), but saying the mid-credits scene beats out the Hulkbuster fight?! The opening credits fight?! The final battle splash-panel scene?! Wanda’s messing with everyone’s minds?!

My favourite is the party and after party. When they are still friends, happy, trying to lift the hammer.
Also in the final battle how Clint takes care of Wanda and motivates her to become a hero.
Or at least the creation of Vision: Thor places the mind stone in him and soon we find out he is good when he lifts up the hammer.
It's not the best film, but it has it's moments.

@@davidmcleod5133 it might be just an issue of comparing it with AA. AA had better pacing, a villain we knew and loved already. The way the distinct characters played off each other was beautiful, the conflict, their strengths and eventually coming together. In AoU they again have conflict, go their own way against others. Thor's decision to put the stone in Vision is based on something very vague. It lacks depth: an evil AI is evil, good AI is good just because of a chance, Thor's vision, Tony's hope and faith? Quicksilver was disappointing when compared with the X-Men one and than he dies and is never mentioned again. Nat and Banner flirt, but it also has no resolution apart from when they meet 2 years after "it's awkward". Cap deep inside still clings to the "what might have been with Peggy" and good that in Endgame his story finishes with her, but for long time they made us believe he actually will make a life here. We don't get why Hydra has the sceptre until Endgame, so the beginning is confusing. It's not the black sheep of the Avengers family, it's the runt. I think people were disappointed with it and they skip it based on that, especially with how IW proved you can surpass AA and even CW in everything. AoU could use better pacing and logic to fit in better.
A lot of iconic scenes in each movie and even more memorable scenes. Awesome movies. The list is excellent and I can't argue with them.
End Game has many iconic scenes other than Avengers Assemble. Some of these are Natasha saying, "It's okay," Clint's cell phone, Cap wielding Mjölnir, Avengers Assemble (this is most iconic) and Stark, "I am . . . Iron Man."

Thor ragnorak - I would argue for the moment Thor discovers his true powers at and goes full beast near the end

To me the best part of the elevator scene was Cap understanding that a fight was coming (good use of his brains there), and still making the effort of giving his opponents an out, if they only took it.
And who else remembers that GotG was supposed to be a flop?
Also, somebody should mention the initial fight between the Ancient One against Kakisto's followers. That was eye candy of the hifghest order.
And finally, let's all remember the many concerns that Civil War was going to be a bloated mess.

The pain and sorrow of having to sacrifice their love and unwavering connection to one another to unselfishly save all was protrayed by both Lizzy and Paul was EPIC.."YOU COULD NEVER HURT ME..I JUST FEEL YOU" That was one hell of moment for me!
