you know how you can tell how AEW fans know nothing about wrestling? because they like AEW.
Usually I would say that this is just reaching from people wanting to trash AEW fans but I have read the comments online, it's absolutely insane that AEW fans have no idea about the connection between Owen & Jarrett.
And they also had a Jarrett Promo on one of the shows explaining it to them and they still complain because they don't actually care about honoring Owen.

And I'm not even a hater on AEW, I Watch all 3 shows and all the PPVs and consider myself a fan of AEW, WWE and TNA, however the die hard AEW fans just give off a very bad look.

AEW fans are new fans and the good ole days only go back as long as the last backyard mud show they watched.
If anything, Jarrett should be in the finals. They could use this as a good storyline. Jeff talks about winning it for Owen. Then in the finals, he gets beat by a wrestler who could say he doesn't care about Owen's legacy and he just beat an old man because he could. Make that wrestler a heel...

The only AEW wrestler that the cameraman actually do right by that does the dives is Darby . They always shoot it like he comes out of nowhere. It doesn’t show him doing the run toward the ropes or anything like that but yes, I totally agree. Disco inferno about Pac. A lot of other wrestling personalities point that out too.

I usually agree with K 100 but not right now. I have no issue with Jeff Jared being in the tournament given the history and who is honoring especially with that fire promo that he did the other day on AEWs CZcams page (which should have been featured on Dynamite for the very reason I’m going to say right now) The weird AEW fans have an issue with Jeff Jared being in maybe because he’s old. My issue is more so that there are only eight people in the tournament and this is for the world heavyweight championship opportunity. Samoa Joe’s not in it? Rush isn’t in it? MJF? Ppl that you’ve featured prominently on the show. This is for a world title opportunity, why the hell is Shingo in it? Why have a tournament with weak participants for a world title opportunity if you didn’t build them up for that prior. With the stakes in it, only PAC, Danielson, and Jay White actually qualify to be participants. Why would other better featured wrestlers not be in this tournament if it’s for a world title opportunity? I like Jeff Jarrett and understand the sentiment, bu this all falls on Tony Khans shitty booking. If you knew you were going to do this tournament and knew the sentiment to Jeff Jarrett being involved in this, why not build him up at the very least a month prior to the tournament. This isn’t even a Jarrett problem, it’s a booking and logical problem once again. This is the equivalent of Dustin Rhodes getting an unlimited amount of title eliminator matches even though he loses every other match he’s involved in. The same equivalent of Kyle orielly asking for a world title match after losing his international title back to back and getting it. The term title eliminator suck btw. It’s not a Jarrett problem, it’s a logic and booking problem
Its not an owen hart tournament, its his foundation tournament which is a charity created by Martha.
