Did any of you see some kinda frame rate jerking on the first 60 seconds of this video? I was trying a new setting in this video, 4k/60fps/standard.. but i may have had a setting wrong, as it shoulda been smoother as i panned around the yard..

12# fishing line works the best. It is a polymer, so it will slide back and forth easier.

The black front looks so much better IMHO. This mod was huge cosmetically, I just love it
you think so? the last piece did bring the front together now that i stand back.. you can guess what this really makes me wonder about.. I want my black wheels on to complete the look, s good as those 19's look. the Sparcos would save another 2-3 lbs per corner.. but those 19"'s are so killer... i gotta choose a nickname for you soon.

The black S3 emblem on the front definitely compliments the audi emblem. I think it looks great all around. Give it some time and I think you will like the blacked out mesh with a touch of red better than the chrome. Specially with the matching set up on the back. Good job on that BTW. I used thin fishing line to remove emblems.

Bro.. It was a pleasure watching you placing the black badges in true LHG style 🙂 The rear is really coming together now. Based on the writings on the plastic bag (in which the rear emblem was packaged), I can confirm that it's an OEM part, no doubts. I am not 100% sure about the front badge OEM-ness, the black seems less glossy than the rear emblem, and the red seems a little off, but now I am really nit picking about it's just in my mind... looks great now, as you said, mixing chrome and black is awkward. Now looks harmoneous.

I have removed dozens... and do them the exact same way you do! Floss never worked "cutting or sawing motion" etc... Also, it looks perfect... = )
hahah right bro? ive been trying "floss" for over a decade.. it sucks. at least cheap grocery store floss. fishing line is the key, but i havent fished in 20 years and dont have line handy.
@@LastHumansGarage I used fishing line myself just yesterday. Much easier if you double it up and works great 👍
Mint floss, minty fresh. I use kite string and wear gloves than pull string tight.. some use fishing line.

I have an Audi s4 b9 and also bought black emblems for it! I just have one little problem 😅 the front s4 badge won’t come off. I have no idea how else to try to get it removed.

is it the same clip design as mine? you might heat it so its not as brittle. a screwdriver pry might snap off the clip and then you can't use it again
My car came de-badged, i just got the black badges for my Ara Blue S3. Any chance you have the measurements on the trunk?
naw bro.. that's the issue. once i remove one fully and run bald for a while, i then don't know where it goes. but really, its all personal taste on the position

the front one? you bend a clip ever so slightly from behind. i think you bend it upwards. but if you go too far it will break.

I got the S3 2022 and just bought the same black badge from the video but it comes smaller than the original. Is it the same for you?

the 2022 has bigger badges. i ordered a larger trunk 4 ring for my 2018 trunk. its about 1/4" taller than my original. same company had a larger one which was a little bit ,more expensive.
hell, if the 2022 has a larger "S3" for the trunk, ill prob buy that too..
