The first dress was RIDICULOUSLY STUNNING! Itâs back was âmade forâ her body! đ„
Totally agree! Absolutely stunning dress.
Yesss that first dress was like WHOAAA
I am still in disbelief she didn't pick that one!
With that sidesweeping sash in the back and her wings, she evoked "Greek goddess" vibes
YES!... I agree, and what I found strange was that the mother kept changing her mind about what did the wings look good or not so I wonder if she would have tried that first dress back on again & got jacked up, if her mom would have agreed that the dress was a 10+!!!!
As a tattoo artist, I don't blame mom for hating the tat. It is kinda crooked but it could be the angles it was shown in. But the 1st dress was literally so stunning on her an unlike ANY other dress I've seen on this show.
I don't blame her for hating that tat either..and I agree, the dress was gorgeous on her.
It's such a bad tattoo! It is so messy I couldn't tell they were supposed to be wings.
@@susannahammond2033 it's gross...I'd cover it with makeup if I were her, and then wear that gorgeous first dress.

as a mother I gotta say, I don't give shit what my daughter gets married in as long as the person she marries loves and respects her unconditionally!
AMEN trust me you have the RIGHT MINDSET
How can someone call her daughter ugly while she's trying on wedding dresses?!
Your daughter is so lucky to have you
Your daughter is so lucky to have you
even if she marries a woman?
The short dress reminded me of something a bride would wear at a cocktail party and could definitely find a replica for cheaper. The first one reminded me of a Greek goddess. She looked stunning
I agree 100%
Short dress was $3500!!!
@@nancyshelton2525 WOW!! That much for a dress like that!? I've seen $600 dresses that look more bridal than that!
It's a dress you wear at your second wedding, not the first.
What a waste of money
Why do moms never understand that the wedding isn't about what they like? It's about the bride and what SHE wants
Agreed. I didnt even have my
Mother at my dress fittings. She tried until days before the wedding to change the whole concept. Once she saw it all together she admitted it was perfectly us
because the wedding isn't just about the bride. it's about the family. and if some of your family hates what you're wearing, personally that would make me feel very awkward. i had my mum at my dress fittings and she had some good opinions and actually pushed me out of my comfort zone. i wanted a gown with sleeves. she convinced me to get a trumpet with a see-through skirt and train and straps. and i have to admit. it's a beautiful dress and not something i would have ever tried on.
personally this whole attitude about it's the bride's day or only the bride's opinion matters is very self centered. if you want to get married for you, go to town hall. if you want to get married for your family, have the big party.
@@whitemoonwolf13 the wedding is about the couple getting married. The dress fitting is about the bride. If someone doesn't like what I'm wearing then they can shove it and go have their own wedding in the dress they like.
When I got married I bought the dress myself and was completely happy with my choice. No one said anything and things were perfectly fine. The dress isn't about the whole family, they're not the ones wearing the dress. Notice how in almost every episode the consultants have to remind the family that the bride needs to be happy in what she's wearing, not the family. The bride is the one that's going to keep the pictures of their wedding for the rest of their life, not the family.
You can take into account people's opinion if you want, but I definitely don't think that family members should dictate what you wear on your day. The day is supposed to be about you and the person you're marrying. You're joining two families together, yes, but the dress fitting and the dress is about the bride and what she wants.
You can say it's selfish all you want, and it is, because it's not about them, it's about the couple getting married. This is their day, not the families. The reception is a celebration for the families being joined, but the whole picture is the couple. This is their day. If someone has an opinion then they can go have their own day.
In my opinion you're a spineless, push over, people pleaser if you don't do what you want on your wedding day. You and your spouse need to do what will make you happy, not other people.
One of my friends told me that she didn't want to have the reception at a popular Italian restaurant in town (after my husband and I already reserved it) because she wanted to have some type of cookout with HER favorite foods (and it'll have more running room for her kid who was not invited). I told her that she doesn't have to come then because me and my husband wanted italian. If someone doesn't like what we're doing then they don't have to come and that will show their loyalty as our friends. Our wedding was not about people pleasing, it was about us celebrating being together and becoming one. So we did things that we enjoyed. My friend ended up coming, and she didn't complain once she understood that the reception was not about her, it was about me and my husband.
@@whitemoonwolf13 The wedding isnât anything to do with family. Family is there to celebrate, not dictate what you get to do or wear. You get to be self-centered on your wedding day because itâs about the couple.

Because she said it made her feel sexy, she prefers to feel beautiful on the dress instead of sexy
Is this you, her mom?
Ikr like it is so pretty
Personally I cannot stand the lack of symmetry
@@selamgebremedhin7580 I doubt it, her mom hated the first dress
I honestly think the short dress looked too plain and ordinary, but if she is happy in it, I am happy for her. đ I personally loved the first dress the best on her.
Could have turned it into a mermaid dress?
I would have loved the second dress if they has brought it to just below the knee - more like a 50s style silhouette. I thought the length was a bit 80s as they left it (never a good thing in my humble opinion) and the over skirt made it even more so.
She didnât wear any of those dresses. She spotted another dress similar to the first one with lace in another store. You can see it on the full episode. It throw me off because she said se wanted âsomething differentâ but the only one that could be that was the short one or the first but she picked something that was stunning on her but a completely generic ordinary dress
@@geemo4284 i liked the second dress but thought the tule skirt would look bette shorter at the front(below knee length) then it s cut to a linger skirt at the back.
Would give the short dress for the bride and the longer more wedding dress style for the mum. Thats what i would have suggested anyway.
I thought it looked like an Easter dress lol
This show taught me as a Mother how NOT to act when my Daughter was choosing her Wedding Gown. She actually said everyone was TOO supportive which made it difficult to choose and she felt very overwhelmed. She ended up choosing a beautiful mermaid gown that was an absolute work of art.
âIâm just gonna sit on your momâ đđ honestly probably the most helpful thing anyone has ever said in that store đđ
i love that he actually sat on her!đ€Ł and the moms reaction
That first dress was stunning. She has the body to completely pull it off. And his wings are part of who she is. Deal mom. And what part of $8,500 is within the budget of $2,000 to $5,000. They have a really poor time with math in that store
they clearly said she picked that dress herself
@@lolnah8490 not the $8,500 ball gown. She chose the short dress. It was $3,500
its a little frustrating when they show the bride dresses that are over their budget bc they may fall in love with it and not be able to afford it which would be super disappointing. I hope they told the bride the price before she tried it on
They ALWAYS DO!
This comment!! YES!!! It irks me to no end when they put a bride in a dress that is almost DOUBLE what they said their budget is.
She should have gone with the 1st dress. It looked stunning on her. And within the budget, unlike the ball gown. Dress she actually chose doesnât look anything like a wedding dress. You can buy something similar from any clothing store for much much cheaper price.
I can't believe it was 3500$ for that small dress
@@lozyz5800 I was thinking the same thing! Some I can argue the expense in costs of materials or time to put it together but that dress is rather simple.
She should have gone with what she liked. Which is what she got. Because it was her wedding.
The short gown was a mistake. However, the bride chose it and -- that's all that matters.
@@lozyz5800 $3500 + the price of the tulle, its quite expensive and the dress doesn't fit as a wedding dress. Well its her wedding anyway đ
The first dress made her look like a Greek goddess... and it went along with her tattoos as well. Anyway, I love she chose what she loves...
I couldn't believe she didn't choose the first dress. It was stunning and absolutely bridal.

That first dress on her was one of most beautiful dresses I have ever seen.
I personally think the first dress looked the best on her
Still not sure why mom hated tattoos on the first dress but not the short dress lol
I think she didn't like the asymmetry because she said the dress "off-set the wings." đ€·ââïž
Definitely not a fan of her tattoo, but she's an adult-her choice.
Because the producer told her to say that.
Because the tats are poorly done in ugly colors, and are off balance one to the other.
My son was a tattoo artist, and he did wings for a woman that were absolutely incredible, looked like real wings, fitting the woman's back perfectly.
@@jb6712 It's funny. She probably got them when Nicole Ritchie was doing her tv show. only the artist didn't know what he was doing.

SO TRUE. Inspired me to lose weight
It really did.
First dress was stunner and I love that it was something you don't see very often . She could of simply had a makeup artist cover her tattoos to make her mom happy .
I love how confident she feels in the short dress! You can see it, plain as day, as she walks out in it. Plus, it doesn't hurt that she has killer legs!
The first dress was so pretty and it looked like she belonged on a runway. The wings complemented it and made her look like an angel.
That first dress was gorgeous on Samantha. The view from the back was breathtaking. The dress she chose was, sorry to say, just a lacy style short dress.
The lacy short dress looks like something a high-school girl would wear to a school or family event. At least imo.
@@leonamay8776 I agree
Short wedding dresses are eighter to casual (more like a cocktail dress) or to much like lingerie
Youâre right
The short dress was definitely not worth $3,500. If it was MUCH cheaper I think that would be a great alternative for brides who canât afford big long designer dresses and like that style.
The 1st dress was made for her I haven't seen anything like it. Perfection on her. It was made for her
When she said the tattoo is ugly I was like so is your attitude đ
She looked stunning in the 1st dress.
Did they really just put her in a dress worth 8500 when she clearly mentioned her budget is upto 5000??? Really?? Why even bother asking about the budget if you're not gonna respect it anyways?
I thought that too. Just about double her budget.
They almost always do that!
They're a business, they're hoping said person loves the expensive dress so much they'll go over budget
Yea those consultants at times have a comprehension issue is... she said $2-5k and go find a dress thats $8500 ,ridiculous . Of course for them if she would've loved it thats a bigger sales comission they get smh
Sometimes they're able to work with the sales team and designer and get discounts for the bride if it's something they love and haven't had any luck with the dresses at a lower budget. Their goal is to make sure the bride walks out with a dress, because any sale is better than no sale, even if they don't profit as much as they initially priced at.
Girlllll that first dress was stunning!!!!!!! And I agree with mom, "those wings are ugly"
I need that first dress for my wedding. Made a screenshot of it to show the consultant if I ever get married
Make a note of the designer
She initially wanted an A-line, flowy dress.... and NONE of the dresses they showed her, were A-line and flowy.....
That one her mum loved was Aline. It was the worst dress she tried on.
These CZcams clips are often trimmed down from the original episodes. (Heck, even the original episodes are probably trimmed down from what all the brides actually try on during filming) They don't always show every dress the bride tries on, just some highlights. It's quite possible she tried on some A-line dresses and just didn't feel them and decided to try other silhouettes, and those are what made the final CZcams cut.
I agree. No true A-line tried on.
The last one she tried on (before putting the short one back on), was the only one that was "flowy"- and she didn't like it. Many times, though, bride's go into their shopping looking for something specific, then falling in love with something completely different once they see what their dream dress looks like on their body...
That first dress was beautiful! Never seen it before đ
Or since! And this is an old show.
It feels like they purposely pulled out dresses that would show her tattoos..
There must be atleast 50 dresses that would be out of the box and unique as bride wanted and would please mom at same time but they had to get an ep out of it
The first dress was by far the best looking on her. It really was stunning on her.
I don't think the bride had experience of a more formal look. Essentially, the short one was a cocktail dress rather than a wedding dress. The first dress was stunning.
Exactly- The short dress looks like something you'd buy off the rack at a department store.
idk, maybe she's just not that type of person. not everybody enjoys big showy gowns
I think it goes very well with the theme of her wedding. And it match her personality : she is sportive, like going around, etc. I think she was looking for something showing her personality, comfortable and something with what she could move around. Considering this it's perfect.
The bride has bad taste smh
The dress she picked was perfect for her, though. She was obviously uncomfortable with all that material the other dresses had -- she plainly didn't want to deal with it. And as a plus, she can probably wear the one she chose somewhere else, if she wants. I'm a fan of being able to use something you've spend a lot of money on more than once. If I were to marry, I'd DEFINITELY pick the same dress she did, in black, and wear it again to other formal events. :D
I love how her budget was $5,000 but yet they put her in a dress that was $8,500 đ hate it when bridal consultants never stick to the bride's budget
Exactly! Like what if she loved that dress? That would be so disappointing knowing you can't afford it

This young lady has such a lovely silhouette but I really wasnât fond of the short dress and the tulle was pointless. I feel she looked more like a guest than a bride.
I'd add a long skirt in something flowy that actually covers the shortness, for the ceremony and photos and then remove it for the reception.
It's a reception dress. A full length solid overlay in satin would have been lovely for the ceremony I think
Spot on, and she could have got a similar short, lace dress for a small fraction of the cost, from a dress shop.

I absolutely love the dress she chose. Perfect for a barn wedding. Her body looked incredible in it, too. Best Wishes!
I agree with everyone else - the first dress was stunning on her. As for the dress she chose, I think the tulle would look better if they made it 2 layers. More money of course but the one layer reminded me of when I played dress up when I was a kid.

Omg the first dress was elegant and stunning!
1st dress was absolutely amazing, tarts are slightly crooked (something an 18 yr old would choose), short dress should be worn as maybe a reception dress.
I have no idea what it is called....but once before on a short dress they put on a lacy half skirt...that went in the back right waist to left waist...and the front was left short...looked very classy. To me...this was way too flimsy and thin for a skirt
The 1st dress is one of the prettiest cuts I've ever seen on anyone. Absolutely made for her figure. The wings covered in make-up or not...couldn't mar the beauty of that dress.
This first dress is stunning!
It would be so interesting to see a show highlighting all these early sales consultants and associates. Theyâre such creative, lovely & no nonsense ladies.
I love the first dress on her.. she looks stunning..
1) She picked the dress that looked the worst on her, but it was what she wanted!
2) I hate that she bought the skirt that she hated.
3) Are her wings backwards?
Those wings were done in such a dark color, they looked very menacing, instead of graceful.

Soooo disappointed. That first dress was 100% perfect for her!! Her husband would have been utterly floored if she had picked that one. It was jaw-droppingly stunning on her. She looked like a goddess, a heaven-sent vision, a fairy, too ephemeral and beautiful to be real.
I meaaaaan, everyone have his own opinions on things, but (in my own opinion) no one has the right to force someone else to pick something that is not the bride s taste, if she wants to show her tattoos let her be ! it s HER DAY, no one want to regret something that wasn't done the way we want on OUR DAY. It s all about the bride and the groom, if they love the tattoos so be it! why interfere, it s her happiness that matters. I might be wrong but that's what i think.
