  • Hey Yall! I just wanted to get on here and talk about my experience in building frames that are right for me and my work. By doing this, my hope for you is to get a better idea of how you want to build your frame. I know I was clueless about this stuff a couple of months ago.

    Dude that electrical tape tip is going to come in clutch many times in your life, my dad taught me the toothpick in loose screw holes tip and that one came through when building my frame because I made the holes for the eyeless too big

    love this, Ive had a tufting gun for a good month now, I want to start making things... I have a 4x6 frame now, trying to get it to stand on something is sooooooo annoying... also love that waffles cardigan WHERE did you get it from omg so damn cute, my vibe...

    We have the same tufting gun which is so heavy so I had to purchase a tool balancer which suspends the gun with a retracting cable from the ceiling. It made the gun glide like butter and weigh like nothing. That could help your back and lessen fatigue as you work on your large rugs for hours.

    furniture rollers would help move it ,and using aluminium frame with nails rivuleted into the frame to hold the tufting cloth

    Is there a monks wool that fits that 6x6 perfect? What if you aren’t getting multiple orders to do more then one rug at a time?

      if thats the case, then I just try to fit other commissions onto that frame or I just make something for myself.

    Aluminium is a lightweight metal n stronger than wood no bending

    Why not build frames from aluminium n use glue to stick the primary n wash off the glue with alcohol 🌍
