    For anyone wondering the yarn he’s holding is a 4 weight yarn.

  • @liviathemalazanpotatonoob5014

    One reason not to use synthetic yarn is if you have kids. I only learned this from a friend who has kids, but apparently, synthetic yarn in rugs is not great for kids, since they tend to crawl a lot on the floor and ingest/breathe in the small particles. I don't have kids, so that was never something I would ever consider.

    Omgggg my yarn will not stop coming out of the gun. I didn’t buy a cone. My yarn doesn’t feed at all from the centre sadly.

    The only bad thing about burlap is that it will rot over a few years

    • @FlavorWorld
      @FlavorWorld  Před 3 lety

      true, but depends on the conditions you keep it in

  • @dcmsnd

    Actually, recommending burlap is not a good for long run. I also did some capets on it but 100% polyester cloth is what everyone needs. Once you try it, you are not going back to alternatives. Burlap is good for hobbists and not for people who want to do proper quality comission.

      Not all burlap works. Try to get some that looks like what ive got in the video. But in short, burlap is not ideal though, its just a much cheaper option

    I just ordered $300 worth of cotton yarn and am just now starting to realize most tufters say it’s the worst out of the three options 🥲
