Please make a series of just increasing a bit, like a progressive workout series kinda, that uplevel beginner's confidence too
oohhh this is a good idea!!
Yes I have done this for weeks and it has gotten easier so going upa notch before intermediate will be great. Thank you!
Omg please see this and do this!
Yeeeessss
🔥💪🏾💪🏾
Lucy: I dunno about you but I’m getting a little warm.
Me, drenched in sweat and heaving: me too Lucy. Me too.
I did ten minutes of this today coming back tomorrow
(2 weeks later) I did the whole thing today.
I'm a bit late but HELL YEAH DUDE LET'S GOOO Have you continued?
I think this is the first time I truly enjoy a workout session. Time went by super fast and I finished the workout feeling happy and so motivated.
Was this actually challenging for you? if it felt easy and smooth, you should upgrade and do it a little harder.
@@wolololer they didnt say it was challenging, they just said they enjoyed it lol which I did too ngl
@@Network-yp8de well i get that, but it should be a bit challenging otherwise u should move to intermidiate workouts adn not beginners.
OFC u can enjoy your rokouts u are supose to, but If they are not challenging they are not good for u
@@wolololer oh yes, absolutely! I think in this case, since the levels are harder each time, it would be alright to not take it as hard, and progress slowly! but to each their own y'know? everyone exercises differently, plus it can be fun to do challenging stuff as well -- so long as they're not overexerting themselves
Thank you for creating a true beginner calisthenics workout. If I’m having trouble getting motivated to exercise, I know I can handle this, and once I’m warmed up, I always end up pushing myself harder/doing the more progressive exercises than I thought I’d have the energy for. I appreciate that you make it easy for me to make the healthy decision to move my body. I always feel good after I finish.
Please make more videos!! As a girl who is tired of weight training and wanting to get into calisthenics, this video is GOLD. I love the way you do your video. It's a non-intimidating way to get started with calisthenics. Can you please make more??
Wow. Such a brillant workout. I really like how you talk us through and help us understand how we should be. So good and supportive!
Yay thank you so much! X
She is so right! I did see a difference in a short time. I did this workout 1.5 weeks ago, and it was so hard. Now I can do the more challenging version of almost every exercise!
These were kind of easy for me to do, and it made glad that this is an actual beginner workout rather than those "beginner" workouts that keep me sore for a week or two and I can't do more workouts because of it. Thank you and I'm loving you rn.
This is the most gentle workout i have ever seen. Thank you ❤️
Thank you! I am so glad you enjoyed it 💓
I've said for years "I want to do calathetics". I'm 34. Today I started and this made me feel so strong and so in control. I've lifted weights for years and this was the first time I loved using the weight of my own body instead. 💪
Same for me! I'm 36 and wanted to start for like 4 years... Finally made the first step today and it feels so good! :D
I’m 37 and started last week:) any updates?
36 here, and I'll be starting it to see what my 37 body and upward will look like.
Im 61 and super excited about it!! Never too late ladies 😊
From tomorrow I'll follow this routine, after 2months of severe anemia, and loosing faith in my weak body, this is exactly what I need, I will not end up sabotaging or procrastinate
@@nblessthan3 😇
Hola! czcams.com/video/CZ-qwRGNgjo/video.html
@@nblessthan3 Yes she can. We all can. We are all way too over carbed. Dr. Jason Fung changed my life. He is on CZcams. A kidney doctor specializing in nutrition.
@Purple Orchid I have anemia too it's crazy how it can take a toll on your body. Glad you're trying to step into a new habit, please remember to be kind to yourself and recognize that your anemia doesn't define you, to seperate yourself from the impacts it has on your body and to not guilt-trip yourself if you feel weak and have days that you prefer resting because that weakness isn't you and it's not your fault. Good luck with calisthenics, wishing you to recover and to be healthy 🙏
Thanks you guys💗
This workout is just perfect to begin with. Im a 33 year old husband, father and high school teacher, so im not exactly working out in my daily routine. This workout was very gentle and yet difficult enough, i found myself not being able to do some variations 😂 thank you very much!
6 months later how’s it going?
I am an absolute beginner and I can only get it through to round 2 + cool down. This workout makes me feel great, thank you! I will continue until I can do the full video ❤
Yay! A new workout vid! I’ll try this one out tonight-thank you Lucy! I’m 41, with about 25 lbs left to lose, but I’m probably stronger than I’ve ever been because of following you the past few months 😀

thank you for talking through the whole things and not having awkward silence, it made this a lot more enjoyable
Thank you so much for this! After nearly no exercise these past 4 months battling long covid, I really need to get up again and move and see if it will help me through this. You are a wonderful trainer; calm and kind and so motivating so thank you so much for your work with these CZcams videos! You are so inspiring.
This was my first time doing one of your workout videos and I really liked it. You made it feel easy even though some variations were more challenging. You have a very nice and calm voice. Please make more of these :) (Sound quality is great btw ^^)
Love love love this format! Thank you for making a beginners workout like this!! 💛💛
This was my very first calisthenics workout. It was way harder than I thought it was gonna be but not quite too hard that couldn't do it. My 3 year old was even enjoying doing it with me (and kicking my butt at it lol) 😂
This was the perfect pace to wake up my body this morning. Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for this amazing workout! And I like how you really explain all the exercises in detail, with the new microphone it was even more helpful than just a voiceover!
Thank youuu for including warm up n cool down!!
Starting calisthenics because I've had a shoulder injury and now I'm working with a slight knee injury... I completely understand the frustration and I am so glad that I have found this video and channel to help me get started! This video was great!!
This was so great and I love all the modified versions that you show for each position. I feel awesome.
Thats a wonderful session. And i LOVE the preview in the right for the next movement. Very helpfull.
Loved this! So easy at 6am on xmas morning. Thanks Lucy
I just wanna say thank you thank you thank you. I never work out and it has been hard for me to find a video that makes me sweat, yet isn't too challenging that it makes me feel avoidant and discourged
Yes! 3 Weeks in and I've progressed from 10 seconds, 20 seconds and 30 seconds... all the way to Round 2 ... I'm getting there :D
Loved it. Thank you so much for uploading 🙏🏼
Brilliant! I've been ill/injured for a while so have lost quite a bit of fitness and put on a bit of weight, this was a great reintroduction to exercise. it was gentle enough not to be out of reach but challenging enough that I could feel it in al the right places.
Thanks Lucy! Sound quality is great 👍 😊
You are an amazing instructor!❤
Thank you for this 🤍 inspiring and much needed!
Thank you for this Lucy!!! Ive been following your previous video doing the same routine for weeks and actually see improvement in my body. Yeay now im gonna follow this new routine for the next 4 weeks 😄
I just found your channel and started doing your workouts and I have to say I really enjoy them! You have nice and soothing voice as well 💜
This was an amazing workout, Lucy! Thank you for the short intervals & very slight advancements in level each time to keep things interesting! I love your encouraging and gentle tone throughout, inviting us to challenge ourselves but never pushing. Can't wait to try more!
Great session! Thanks
I absolutely loved it ! Thank you
Thank you so much for posting this! I have wanted to do calisthenics for years and not that my body is fully healed from my C-section. I am excited to start slow and learn from you! Big hugs from Texas!
Have lost 22 KGs now changing what I eat, when I eat and doing 10000 steps a day...but I have been missing toning and muscle building....thanks this routine came just when I was looking for that something. I been following your journey and thanks for all the inspiration
Loved it! Thank you❤
I loved this workout!! Love your videos!
Love love loved this video. Have tried sooo many home workouts on CZcams as a way to bypass the guilt of sitting with an office job every day. This was the perfect before work routine-- got my heart pumping and a bit of a sweat, but left me still feeling energized and excited to tackle the day
So good!! I didnt work out for so long and then I tried this workout and it felt amazing! I was able to finish it, I felt strong, I felt like I can do anything and the best thing was I had my whole body sore.... But that is great!! I am going to do it again right now and I am very excited I actually started to do something with myself again. Thank you!!
Thank you for this!
Just finished it, it feels so great to move again after more than whole pandemic years, thank you so much for doing this
Thank you so much! Just back from work and feeling extra frumpy today. Will do this workout this evening!
Awesome video. I watch a lot of CZcams while doing things. Your voice/audio work really helped follow this video. Thanks.
I am doing these three days a week after recoverying from a back injury and not working out at all for two months. At first I felt so ashamed for the lack of strength and stamina but reading others comments have been really helpful.
I'm excited to try this
I hope to be stronger and lose weight with this workout. I didn’t feel lonely doing this! Thank you 🥺
I loved it! Thank you
Great video. Thank you.
One of the best workouts I‘ve ever seen and I‘m in love with your energy! Thank you so much!!! 😍
Aww thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Xx
Thank you Lucy for creating this workout! I read about calisthenics I wanted to start and this is just the place!
I just started exercising again today for the first time in YEARS. And this kicked my A$$ 😅😅 my abs, thighs & calves are SO sore. But I like this because it's doable from home and doesn't require anything extra. Easy to follow along with and great for overall conditioning.
So positive and motivating❤❤❤
Finally getting back into a regular routine again. This is a perfect starter. Thank you!
that was my first Calisthenics Workout ever and the first one with you. Enjoyed it a lot! I loved, that you included warm up and cool down. Thank you!
Thank you. I enjoyed following your video as you encouraged me to stay and enjoy the work out @ the level of my own comfort but still with a bit of a challenge.
First time doing one of your videos. I enjoyed it. Thanks.
I loved this video! I'm just getting into calisthenics and I appreciated this intro so much. Thank you!! And I hope your injury is better
Hi Lucy I really love this workout thank you!
I really loved this one where it was just gradually increasing with intensity and that there was no pressure to have to increase. That way I can find what works and what doesn't, but also be able to build to the more difficult moves (some that I didn't even think I could do!).
Instant subscribe because I want to continue this form of workout.
Perfect! Thank you so much.
This is such an effective stretch!! Thank you!
I recently got an injury that involved stitches and this helped me stay mobile without compromising my recovery, love the video!
Really enjoyed this.
Thank you Lucy! I’ve recently switched from a very physical job to an office role. 2 months in I’m seeing the consequences of sitting all day.
I’m using this workout 2 days on/1 day off for the first two weeks of my home workout journey to get my body “up to par” and I’ll branch out from there. Thanks for making this accessible, fun, and encouraging!
Alrighty, here's my checking in 🥰
Day 1💜
Day 2 💜
yesss. this slayed 🎉 i had a back procedure and had to stop lifting weights and i wish i had gotten into calisthenics sooner. i feel myself truly understanding my body more. thank youuu for this 💗
Wonderful!
Loved it!!❤
Love this sm thank you
I loved it. I’ll gradually work my way up. Thanks a bunch ❤
Thank you very much, this was my first Calisthenic workout with 62, I have done 1 yr of beginners yoga and pilates so I had SOME preparation. It was very doable but just enough challenging for me- so a great introduction and motivation to get started....only the time keeping without following your video...I dont know yet how ..
I have just found this channel!!!!. Its really good!!!!!!! I hope you still make videos!
Thank you!!!
Thanks Lucy great work out i just started doing calisthenic and i found your page u have great technique and style i will be doing this regularly between strength training and Pilates yoga training appreciate you 😊

Thank you so much. You made my day!
thank you soso much for this !!! this is exactly what i’m looking for :)
Simple but challenging. Thank you
Wonderful to wake up in the morning
Enjoyed it! 👏🏽 thank you!
Wow, I loved this!
my first time and really enjoyed it...super before yoga!
been wanting to start calisthenics and this is the perfect place to start! the workout flew by but still made me sweat. been doing it for about two weeks now and i can already feel the difference! thank you lucy!!
Thank you!
First ever callisthenics workout (beginner to strength training in general - I mainly do yoga/hiking) and it was the perfect amount of challenging. I found the push ups almost impossible even on the easiest variation as my arms are probably my weakest area, but modified to do them against the wall until I build up some strength!! Everything else was at the perfect level for me. Thank you so much for motivating me to see it through until the end ❤
you taking all the way through really helped time go faster. a lot of the time it's annoying when the person talks a lot but here it's not the case at all. thank you so much!!
Today is the first day in my life trying calisthenics. I have been doing yoga for the past 6 months so I am so happy to find many of these moves are just like yoga but faster. I am so excited to begin my calisthenics journey. Thank you for this video, Lucy!
P.S I love how the rest time is included in the video.
current status(11 days later):
push ups - easiest iteration
squats - second iteration
plank - third iteration(without dips)
back extension - second iteration
quad hold - second iteration
(don't mind me, just leaving this note for my own record here)
Made it for the fourth time and already feel I am progressing👍really great, motivating sequence for beginners!!!
Amazing workout for beginners! You’re very nice and encouraging! Thank you so much ☺️
Great workout i can do with hypermobility. So glad i found you.
This was really nice to do, I'm actually exited and looking forward to do it again :) thanks a lot
