Looking nice and clean! One thing to mention, a tube is one of the worst shapes aerodynamically so having the cross brace directly in front of the leading edge of the wing is probably degrading the wings performance a fair amount.

@@dexterdcdexter I honestly have let it fall on the back burner after the frustration with the TT02, but I will build it up eventually. Now thinking about going for 100 on the water first 😆 I got bit by the boat bug!

Great build buddy! Should be a ripper!👍 Should enter the speed run challenge with it.👌

Thank you and much appreciated. Your builds are amazing. I have my bell on waiting for your next video to drop. I am a big fan of your channel.
I entered the competition but I am a rookie when it comes to speed runs. And I learned the hard way yesterday that my usual speed run location is nowhere big enough for speeds over 116. 😳
I have never driven a rc car that fast and I did not estimate the correct space needed for slowing down. It was my all time PB and one of my worst passes ever. Even on 3S, it could have been way faster if it didn't get squirrelly and if I had more room. How much braking space do you allow for after one of your speed runs?

@@dexterdcdexter Sorry, I just seen this reply partner! But Yeah, Speed running takes some time to pick up for sure, I just started speed runs last year myself. I found out quick that it is a lot harder than I thought it would be!
The best advice I can give is "TAKE YOUR TIME moving up in speed" and enjoy it! If you take it slow you will learn how to drive "control" the car along with many other important things as you move up in MPH. Taking your time will save you money also, trust me!👍
As far as road length you will need as much or more shutdown area as the starting area and the faster you go the longer you will need! I'm still working on stretching the distance of my runs out more and more, most are between 4000' to 6000' feet lately starting in the center. Try to find a road that's so long you don't have to worry about the length if possible!😉
I'm newer at this stuff also but I hope this helps you out a bit! Good luck!👊

Clean, but heavy lookin'.. must take a moment or 2 to get going. What gear ratio ? Does it run really hot?

    • @dexterdcdexter

3S RUN at 116 MPH. Temp 86 degrees Fahrenheit. 33 flat on the gears.
