- Today the pattern we're going to learn is the "Offset Backspin". This is the 3rd root movement that i teach. It's a basic straight forward pattern. It shouldn't take you long to learn how to do. The importance of the pattern tho is it teaches you how to be start thinking with regards to being efficient with your movement. You realize as your "juggling" both limbs are always active. The left hand is working independent of the right hand, yet the left hand is helping the right hand execute the "juggle". You have to learn now how to get both your left and right hands to work in harmony but do separate things.

Just wanted to thank you man! Both for sharing the knowledge with us and also givin' me the idea to record my classes like this as their like the best kinda tutorials for there is actually a student who makes mistakes and have questions , etc. I teach music production by the way and I'll be happy to help if I could be of any. Man you videos are the my main source for teaching myself beatjuggling and scratching. Thank you thank you and thank you!
He explains stuff so perfect
Well done young soldier!
Great lesson, thank you!
The offset is my favourite. Soo dope
Game changer. Back to the lab once the kiddos are in bed. Thank you!
Yes the Offset! Not to be confused with The Migos😂😂 This one was definitely left off of Bad and Bougie🤣🤣 Sorry Rob I just had to do it. All jokes aside this was a great explanation of the routine!! As I always tell you I really appreciate what you are doing for turntablism! I don’t see many others even attempting to do half the works I’ve seen you accomplish!💪🏾
OFFSET!!! LMAO! Respect bro.

so good its ridiculous
haha, Rak be poor but im learning from the cheap seats. Dope video rob, im learning from these new videos bro!!!
Teaching online seems pretty hard. For the teacher. That's good that he takes Time with his students..
Root movements are key!!!!!
Isn't one of the issues that he was not letting the 2nd kick play and THEN baby scratch it back? Seems like he was doing a forward baby right before the 2nd kick dropped
i feel like you explained this in a hard way. beginner djs do this all the time but put the baby scratch on the 1. The way I understood it is just skip that baby scratch on the 1 and do it on the 1-and
Thank you rob ! 🖤👊🏼 it would be cool when you say us the name of the song ... and we Could practice with the song
I may be late with this, but the beat is from "It's My Turn" by Stezo. The original beat is from "It's a New Day" by Skull Snaps. So, either record can be used.
Is it possible to mix tempos of two different tracks mid beatjuggle, or should u always match tempos first with the same 2 tracks? The first way seems schizophrenic but its literally what ive been trying to do and i think its why im stuck. I really need to work on multitasking better thanks so much for this it will be so helpful and teach me to incorporate more scratch combos while beat juggling!!
ive seen many ppl juggling with two different tempos. i guess dont let your ideas stay in a box, i guess if you can hear it in your head you definitely can put it out in sound
I'm guessing this is filmed at some ungodly hour - Brother Rob looks very tired - huge props for sharing the knowledge
that or its super early and hes hung the fuck over :-)
What beat are they using?
AM WAITING FOR QUAVO SCRATCH
Hello, I want to get into the world of dj and get the right equipment. I'm not sure about which turntable to buy. numark ntx1000 or reloop rp7000 which is much more expensive option. Mixer Tractor Control Z2 is the most suitable here where I live. do not recommend me Technics 1200 1210 because they are pretty expensive. Thank you
I am also debating between those 2, which one did you pick?
save your money for technics and you wont ever need to buy new decks again, technics is the best investment
does this only work with a beat thats got a double kick at the start?
juggling patterns work with every beat only the speed needs to be adjusted to the bpm
@@Presbiter speed needs adjusting to the bpm? Explain yourself
Good SH!T......
What's the name of that beat
Shawn Greene skull snaps its a new day
@@DJmonAtomic is correct, as it is the ORIGINAL record. However, the beat used on the video was "It's My Turn" by Stezo.
Hey Rob,
How do I get to have Skype sessions like this with you?
If you're serious, hit me up on Instagram of FB and we'll discuss. Peace.
