Life after losing your loved one is very hard, my dog helped keep sane after losing my wife. We once did a tour of northern France on my ZZR1100 back in 2001, there are always the memories to help with the grief. Using my bikes has helped a lot as well, my 2017 Bonneville became too heavy so swopped it for a Royal Enfield 350 Classic recently and just got back from a 1400 kms journey down to Madrid and Toledo on it camping. Very slow but still enjoyable. Yes I'm a Brit living in Spain for the past 20 years. What I'm trying to say is good luck with your travels and remember Sarah as much as you like, she will always be with you.
Thank you so much for the kind words 🙏 I owned a ZZR1100 about 20 odd years ago, loved it. I see a lot of people riding the Royal Enfield bikes nowadays, they must have some endearing qualities, will need to have a nosey myself :) Sarah will always be with me, and through her strength I will continue to plod forward, thanks again 🙏
Words can't describe how inspirational and brave you are. It's Fantastic and heart warming you want to carry the legacy through what you both love. Stay strong Craig and don't forget that we're all here for you.
Sarahs bucket list for you shows she knew how to push you through this-yeah,some of her plans/requests might seem weird to read out loud but each one will have been thought out and written for a reason and one day,it'll make sense as to why they made that list.Crack on with ticking that list off to completion. Small coincidence- you've posted this 4 years to the day when we had our own family loss to cancer with the passing of my mum- that grief still slaps me evey now and again so I'll be watching your progress with a mix of interest and prickly, watery eyes.
Loved this Craig. As a cancer survivor myself and having recently lost my mum to brain cancer quite suddenly and a friend who is dealing with breast cancer I know only too well how this horrible disease takes and affects lives. Will be watching your videos.and I hope your journeys can help you and others, an amazing thing to do 👍
I’ve just stumbled across your CZcams account, watched the first video and was totally drawn in to you and your journey. I’ll be watching the rest of your videos over the next few days. Is there a way I can message you privately? Safe travels!
Craig, I'm your mum's cousin. I was saddened to hear about the loss of Sarah, your beloved wife. There are no words to heal your broken heart, but I'm sure your family will give you strength to help in the darkest of days, and your memories of Sarah will be with you forever. Love to your mum Glynis and all the family 💔
♥go and complete that list and look after yourself, keep us updated ♥
