  • You can always reuse the Jugs for different things, but really what we're interested in is the Nozzle, unscrewing that can provide a hardly no spill, easy fill, and no hassle situation.

UFA has pumps with it so you can fill in bulk for cheaper and with no waste. Take in an old drum and fill it up and you're set for a while... just don't let it freeze!

The best use is to stop buying it.

No? I used to go through about 50 DEF jugs a year. DEF is extremely messy and hard to clean out of the accordion tube. And you don't address the actual jug. Just the spout that MIGHT fit on your oil jug when it didn't even fit on the DEF jug half the time. No. Just buy a 99¢ funnel and dispose of the jug and spout.

      DEF is water soluble.

All the DEF jugs I'm seeing have huge oversize threads, double the size of most oil or AF jugs.

@user-vg6qv5jv3w Genuine question: if you were using that much DEF every year, why were you not just filling up at truck stop pumps? I can't imagine it was cheaper to buy it in the jugs, and personally I would pay 50% more to avoid the hassle haha

DEF is just urea and water, it rinses out very easily. The DEF jugs around where I'm from all use the same cap that goes on 4L windshield washer fluid bottles and antifreeze bottles, there are also some 1L oil bottles that use the same cap but those aren't that common.
