Nice, i have one here in Sweden that looks exactly the same, same color, same interior but has gasoline engine and manual. I inherited it from my parents and I love it.
Ah nice, that will be a good workhorse! I love these cars (apart from turning circle), they just do everything so well don't they! Think this colour looks nice too for a "gold"
There's just something about a clean and glossed up engine bay. I did my Ranger for the first time a few months ago and it still looks great. It's the one thing you can clean on your car that will truly last. Of course, I've done a great job trying to filth it up again, but it still looks beautiful even after multiple spills and mishaps with fluid changes. I'll probably have to clean it again in a few months just to keep the dust down, but there really is nothing else on a car that lasts as long as an engine detail.
I totally agree! Every year when I service my wifes car I do her engine bay also. I'm coming up to having to service it again, I topped it up with oil last night and the engine bay still looks great! A bit dusty but a quick wipe over with a microfibre and all was well again. So worthwhile the initial effort to do isn't it!

Hmmmmm. A no frills se greaser before BH Surfex ?? Is the de greaser much stronger again than BH. What was the name of it. Thanks.
It's quite strong I would say yes, very good for tyres also :) It's from Screwfix here in the UK it's called "no nonsense degreaser"
Thanks , I use all sorts, usually cheaper stronger chemicals, I'll give it a whir@@Enginesetc
@@zzhughesd it's very cheap to be honest which is a big factor in me using it as I'm quite liberal with product
I had a pressure washer making the hack noise ever few seconds. What is this?? I replaced it with an Ava. Same noise.
It was an o ring in the end, I fixed it a few days later. Was leaking from near the lance, replaced o ring and all sorted :)
@@Enginesetc yes. That’s it. I almost fixed mine with same hacking problem but instead bought a Xmas offer Ava.
Fair enough, good excuse for a new machine :) @@zzhughesd
