No, she is unmatured overestimating her abiities and skills.
Maybe his presence was the original source of all the anger; sometimes it's better to get the father out of the picture. We have no idea what that situation was, so she has to do the best she can where she's at and she's doing that by reaching out to Supernanny. If the father could just fully support her and the kids financially so she could pay for school and everything else easily, then that is at least something to be useful. Let's hope he's at least doing that; if not, I have no idea how she could possibly make it.

This mother is amazing. Raising 5 children on her own is not easy. I know because I also raised 5 children on my own. Not only that, but she is studying as well. She was so positive with having Jo help her and was willing to try everything. Well done to her.

Smart lady to realize how She was feeding her children negative n scary stuff.....like she said " it's hard to hear you're doing something to affect the ones I love the Most badly..." But she nipped it in the butt n kept coming back to nanny for new instructions. I admire this mom tremendously. And I Adore Super Nanny.

Those kids were so sweet saying thank you to JoJo. Mom deserves praise for seeking help and for staying strong when it would have been easy to turn to drinking or depression. Instead she fought through the tears, fear and grief of her husband abandoning her and the kids. Well done Mom.
Poor mamma she seems so caring and sweet I started tearing up when jo had to leave her but also because her family is happier and healthier. I hope everything is going well with them❤️

I know we had really good neighbors too, we were all close. I’ve got brilliant ones, the bloke next door does so much for me running me to hospital appointments. Yesterday, my bulb went in my main light in my bedroom and you had to unscrew it, as it’s a fan and light in one, he changed that. he’s coming tomorrow because my hoovers conked out. I’d be relying odd job men otherwise. It’s God given, I’m blessed.

Shes beyond amazing. Ive seen some moms who would just abandon or neglect their kids in that kind of situation , but this mom here she teaches at school and takes care of 5 young children at home. Shes an extraordinary lady. God bless her and her beautiful kids.

Chantal has an emotional barrier with her mom. Even though she wants to be close she’s still so angry at her mom and there won’t be any bonding until that anger is broken through. Whether it’s about the divorce or the twins.
Definitely one of the best mothers ever on this show, she really tried to improve her and her children's life

Heart warming episode. Mom is inspiring. She is working so hard and trying and wow she does have her hands full. But they will be okay because she has love in her heart for them and cares. The tools Jo gave her are great! That dial-I might have to do that. It’s so exciting for the kids.

Jo doesn’t even have to tell her what she did wrong, she just shows the video and she says exactly what the problem is. She knows what to do, she just loses focus in the moment and isn’t quite aware of her behavior.
Bless that lady's heart for everything she tries to do for those kids. I don't know how she does it. That's too much for 1 person. 🙄

Cheryl has five children: 7-year-old Chantal, 5-year-old identical twins Caleb and Nicholas, and 4-year-old identical twins Bobby and Elijah. Cheryl is divorced and has full custody of the children. She is going to school to get her teaching certificate, but it's not easy for her as she deals with the children, who leave the house constantly messy and full of havoc. Chantal constantly hits and throws tantrums to get her mother's attention. All five children handle the divorce with anger, wall drawing, disrespect, screaming, fighting, not taking Cheryl seriously, disrespect, name-calling, swearing, and backtalk.

@@coffeepeachesplans this is not normal. These kids are screaming for help. Screaming to be heard and seen. These kids are struggling with emotions that they dint know how to express. Probably miss their father. I have 3 and they don't behave like that. They do fight and scream but not to this extent. This is pure chaos. I may not always have time but as I am busy, I let them express their feelings to me. I'd they fight, they separate and when everyone I calm, I call them to me and we talk about what happened. I am barely sitting but it doesn't take much to have them next to me to speak. This is nothing against the mother because she is clearly overwhelmed. It's 5 against 1. This is something that you have to start in infancy, what is okay and what is not. I tell my children no as infants when they start to grab hair by 1 year they are used to hear it and know what that means. For me, my parenting style has been working very well.

More like she remembered to put on an act. She doesn’t need to be evaluated, just told that drama queen antics won’t work for her. These kids weren’t that bad, their mom just needed to learn to do more than yell “that’s not ok”.

Why do parents have so many children. It could be that you end up on your own with them through different circumstances. I am so glad this woman called for help. My grandma was able to live in the family of her uncle after her dad died . There was no support system. She had to work for her existence.
