Is there a difference between these units in regards to the PRO DJ LINK? I'm reading both manuals and in the DJS-1000 there's a whole section for SYNC and shows the PRO DJ LINK. (It also mentions rekordbox) In the Toraiz SP-16 manual it's missing this section, only shows a wiring diagram on page 41, but not much info.
Why in the world would they leave the arranger off the DJS-1000? It's not like the programming wasn't already established for the SP-16. I'm getting really tired of manufacturers deliberately crippling their gear so we have to buy multiple gadgets, rather than putting everything into a single USEFUL unit. And we know from experience that if we buy an SP-16 Pioneer will suddenly release a MkII version without advanced notice, the day after the return period has expired.
Toraiz has a better output options and a professional analog filter. The DJS has a better user interface and compromises on outputs and filter. Why not make one unit that has the total package? It irritates me to the point that I want to go look at the MPC X.
I have a question. I recently bought an XDJ700 with my SP16 but the XDJ automatically works as master tempo, so when I load a new track on de XDJ while my SP16 is playing it will automatically jump tempo. I understand that's why you put your DJS1000 as master, but do you know a workaround for this without buying one and just sticking with my SP16 and XDJ700?
The RENDER work JUST TO EXPORT OUT SIDE of the Toraiz or DJS! A sampler is a sampler and not a Play back or CDJ! then there is the reason to you only use 32s! but you can put the render in a USB stick and play in CDJ or computer

The AUX out goe into channel 3/4 and the lan cable goes to the lan Ports on both units. The „send“ Output goes right to the Input on the DJS Buy the DJS. The Unit is capable of manual beatmatching. The SP 16 don’t. The DJS has effects, the Toraiz don‘t.

In The Studio Live As you know I already have to Toraiz. Was lil confused that I should have next unit Toraiz or djs 1000 coz Toraiz and djs 1000 output sound quality is different
Watching your very informative video for a second time while trying to decide to purchase one of these two machines. I’ve been DJing for 20 plus years but never got into production. I have a 1200s/Pioneer S9 kit and a CDJ & DJM 900 NXS2 kit that I use with Rekordbox DJ/DVS/Thumb drive/Video. As someone new to production would you recommend one of these machines? Also these machines seem great for sampling and basic sequencing, then you take the track and import it into a DAW?
Depends what you want it for, for DJing with CDJ's I feel the DJS is better but for just sampling bout the same , for production the Toraiz because of it's 2 FX , arranger , outputs
@@InTheStudioLive I have MK2 and waiting for studio mk2. I'm still happy with the mk2 because I am honing my live skills with melodics. I'm very close to jumping into production.
@@glazed420 How's it going I was just reading your comments. I'm confused question? I have a traktor pro 3 license. Could I get an NI Mashine MK3 and use it with my Xdj Xz? I want to be able to use Record box or Serato. I'm not just tractor not sure how to do or go about this?

Also how would you think this measure to Ableton Controllers (Push 2 or the APC 40 MKII)?
can you chop up your recording on either one of these like you can on the MPC Live?

The Toraiz is always going to follow the only thing you can do and you probably know this is to adjust the bpm of the Toraiz to the xdj

I see velocity on/ off on djs 1000.. where is this setting on toraiz bro..... ? I want to trigger pads in a fixed velocity mode.. let me know.. thanks

Hey dude - can the DJS 1000 sync midi clock? For instance - connect via midi to my Roland syths to sync tempo?
