- You keep praying for snow so I have to make more Ventrac Snowblower videos and I get to keep having fun! This is the most awesome snowblower setup I have ever seen in my entire life. We used our Ventrac machines in Northern Maine on our Farm Estate before moving to South East Pennsylvania. Here we use our machines for primarily earth moving, grading, brush cutting, etc. We have 19 attachments and can do all sorts of amazing things!

Looks like a lot of fun
It's wicked fun!
That is epic.
I know, right? Haha! Thanks, man
Only a true badass comes with his own theme music, sir. And you're it!!!! I love the Ventrac!!
Haha! Thanks, man. Glad you're enjoying my channel
I gotta ask, what makes someone a true badass?
Id by the heated cab thank u
The cab is really nice BUT there are two reasons I don't have one. First, I don't clear snow commercially and 2nd is that it changes the slope rating from 30* to 20*.
I know its not 2024 in this video, but regardless you have so much fun when you are on your Ventrac!😀😃 Have at it my friend!
Thanks, man!
Nice mach tho
Yeah it is
Ventrac is the best
Yes it is!
Thank you, Bradley! Video is great quality. The articulation of the compound-chute-discharge from the operators seat is sweet! Nice timing to illustrate, after you talked about the actuator for it recently.
Don't think I saw any wheelspin while the 4500 was shoving that 500 lb+ blower uphill on the slick blacktop. Impressive!
It almost seems like the KX523 is one attachment that begs for its own post-mount lights due to the chute being in front of one of the tractor's own lights.
I have thought about the lights OFTEN! It's an easy mod for sure. That's one of the reasons I have the work lights on the roll bar pointing forward like that. The hood lights are worthless when using the Snowblower. At least I get some light out in front of me with the roll bar lights
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 Thanks. Would be really cool with (3) lights. A couple of Snail Eyes (if you could protect them), and (1) spotlight on the last section of articulated chute that would always be aligned with where the snow was aimed! 😜
Awsome video you do know your machine, really enjoy vifeo.
Thanks, Eric! There's a new snow video coming out today at noon Eastern Time. Be sure to check it out. I talk about 8 different attachments that you can use for snow and ice!
Nice machine!
Thanks! I've been using Ventrac for 17 years and they do so much more than people realize!
I'm always wishing for snow because it's so relaxing to use the snow blower
The Ventrac Snowblower is definitely fun to use!
Bigger is better. Thanks for the reply...
Now I'm planning an addition to add on to our shop :)
Keep that mess up there. 76 degrees in Dodge City AL. Today.
Your having to much fun great video
I'm trying not to haha!
At least you get enough snow to use the blower. My poor Gravely only has seen a couple inches of wet heavy stuff at a time. Have to use the broom to get to the pavement. Beside I can't afford a ventrac.
I have my Ventrac set up very carefully so I can throw even the lightest snowfalls. I would love to have the Power Broom but I need to make space for it!
It does that in the wintertime.
More in Northern Maine than it does here :)
Got an inch in Salt Lake
You should always engage your machine PTO clutch at idle speed, and then rev it up. Much easier on the clutch and driveline components. Nice machine, looks like a pleasure to operate.
You're not wrong but Ventrac uses Ogura clutches. You're not going to hurt those things. Everything on these machines is overengineered, just the way I like it
The Ventrac is controlled by "joystick". There are no brakes or gears. Or manual clutch.
Whos music is in this video ?
Vesa, that's Polar Bears by Steviasphere :)
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 Thanks 😀
Same as a Steiner 430 kubota gas. 15yrs ago we were doing this. Blade is fine for 6inches. The blade must have a 1 inch thick rubber cutting edge if you have cracks or uneven asphalt or concrete. Ask me how I know permanent marks in my kneecaps with metal edge blade
A seatbelt helps too :) Believe it or not, I don't have a single blade attachment, but will probably wind up with one at some point
That seems like a very nice setup. I didn't know they had the front bucket attachment. I'd love to eventually have one of these. I bet it would come in handy. Nice video.
Thanks, Radar. I have a lot of fun on our Ventrac equipment. Our family has owned Ventrac's since 2001 starting with my uncle. Then I bought my first Ventrac, a 2005 4200VXD. Then my dad bought one in 2011 and then I bought another one in 2016 to help reclaim our property in Northern Maine from the encroaching wilderness! I hope that you're enjoying our other videos as well!
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 what's the price tag with cab n heat n a snow blower
@@shawnmcfee2333 you can look up the prices on the Ventrac website but a new 4520Z with a few options plus cab and 52" snowblower will probably run you close to 50K
Hi Blue Cord! Quick question for you: do you imagine those round shoes on the blower attachment might work for brick pavers without getting caught too much?
Hey, Eric. They won't get caught but they may cause scratching or scuffing. If you've seen my wife's walkway, her PRECIOUS walkway, then you'll know why I also have the KJ520 Broom! I had used the blower on it, VERY carefully in the past, but there's NO risk of the Broom causing any damage to it
This snowblower is fantastic just wish where you sit is enclosed with heat. Is this purchasable or shipped to Chicago
You can get a heated cab for the Ventrac. You should check for a local dealer
Why don't you shut the garage door ??? Keep the snow outside and the warm air in the house !!!
Richard, that's our shop, not the house :) We may at some point add an electric opener for that door, just to make things easier. As it is right now, those doors needs to be closed from the inside
He must not live on a busy rd or st Drivin his mach down it
I live on a dead end road in a community with 45 homes and ALL my neighbors LOVE the equipment we have, knowing we'll help them out every time they need it
Well done! Not missing the snow though!
Yeah, I'm ready for Spring. We have many customers waiting for us and we can't grade until the snow melts and things dry out
Nice setup! How often do you use the rear bucket when you're clearing snow?
Not that often but I leave it on just in case
I have Ventrac tastes but a used John Deer budget. Ha! Awesome machine bro, keep them coming!
Thanks, Will! Like I mention in many of my videos, I'm not some Ventrac hero. My wife and I have accumulated Ventrac equipment for over 15 years. It started out as a hobby to augment my physical therapy at the VA. Over time it's turned into what it is today
Sir my name is George sir how much is the socket for the 27 MM
Cheap compared to the cost of a 4500Z Ventrac with a KX523 snowblower. Just a few dollars. You can look for it on Amazon or other online retailers
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504my name is George the only reason I did ask that is what size of the snow blower that fits the the 4020 trackter sir
The one that is in the picture sir I like that snow blower sir
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️👍
How well does the blower perform in wet snow? It obviously sends that light snow a pretty good ways, do you prefer the snow plow attachment when the snow is more wet and nasty?
This blower throws 6 pound river rocks 75 feet up a 15 degree slope! Yeah, wet snow is no problem. studio.czcams.com/users/videoP7xqyVggmZ4/edit
Does your Tractor have LED Front Head Lights or Standard Halogen which do you like best?
Currently standard headlights on my 4500 but I did upgrade to LED on my 4200. They are bright! Also, the work lights on my roll bar are LED. They're nice too
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 Will the 4520 LED bulbs fit in the 4500 headlamps?
@@cwolf8841 I should have one here in the next few weeks for me to mess around with. I will see about that
You should paint your trees with snow
Great video !! That's one Awesome little machine !! So is there a cab for it in the future ?
Thanks! Probably not. I have no need for a cab
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 Right on, that's why I asked ! Thank you for the quick response.
@@Charles53412 the cab also reduces the slope rating. I need as much of that as I can get!
How much snow do you guys get? I was laying in the garden with a Budweiser yesterday complaining about the heat 😂
I was complaining about the heat all this week! haha!
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 oh mate, the heat this week over here has been absolutely horrendous, it's not just hot, it's been that sticky hot where the humidity is all over the place
@@lewisdove1064 I don't miss the snow but we're in the 90s this week!
That’s real nice. But what does it do in real wet snow, that snow doesn’t look that wet
There is a video where I show this. As slushy as it can get before it melts and it does an amazing job. czcams.com/video/wrbj71peobY/video.html
How big is your equipment garage?
Lew, our Garage is 28'x24' and I wish I had it built bigger! :)
I hear that 40x60x20high is about right for most people like you. Love the red beast.
Hello Brad, you may recall a couple of weeks ago I contacted you with regards to your adjustments on your Ventrac Snowblower. Both your tractor and Snowblower, are duplicates to the setup that I have.
The difference is, that yours removes snow from the pavement or sidewalk. If I want my wife to go ballistic, go out and clear the snow. Mine leaves about a 1/4” of snow. That will get her started.
I took the information and applied the you're suggestions to my unit
In addition to the shoes with the washers as spacers, there is a second set of shoes on either side of the auger in the front that are adjusted with bolts. Perhaps you can raise those a little to lower your cut height
Me needs
The KX523 is really awesome and so is the Ventrac
0:11 sec... OOPS, you cough me.
I KNEW it was you!
Can anyone on CZcams make a video without commercials?
Unfortunately that's how CZcams makes money. I have a CZcams premium account for about 10 bucks a month and no commercials. It's totally worth it
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 thanks for the reply, much appreciated.
I'm gonna find you 😣😔😉😆😑 O well I tried.....
Im tired of riding the lawn Tractor Mom, But if Dad keeps putting Gas in it then.... well I guess I'll keep mowing....Lol!
Yeah, something like that! haha! :)
Would have been a really nice video without the music.
I hear you. We have many videos without music as well. We try to make everyone happy
Yeah if u want too pay 50.000 $ what a joke
Jason, have you ever demoed one? I think it's worth every cent and then some. We are able to do so much with our Ventracs and attachments. We can do things and go places that no one else can
