I was one of the LEGAL immigrants who came to New York City. It was in the Giuliani years. Life there was good, I paid taxes and respected the law. I became an American citizen and I am grateful to the American people for that opportunity. I continued working and paying taxes and respecting the law. I actually became a NYPD cop and upheld the law. And then came de Blasio. And my family and I packed our things and left the city in obvious decline. They didn't care for my work, my taxes, my presence. And I was not alone in leaving. I am now happy in a state with a reasonable governor. Tucker says it all.

What a slap in the face for all the people who waited, worked hard, and paid their dues to come here legally. I truly feel for the people in the world in bad living situations who long for the freedom and opportunity of the USA (a country supposedly evil and racist, despite the fact that everyone is dying to come here), but we simply cannot take on all of them without taking care of our own first, and we need to know who is coming here, and they need to assimilate to a certain point as well. Not to mention that many of these illegal immigrants themselves are extorted, taken advantage of, abused, attacked, sexually assaulted, trafficked, and victimized by other illegal immigrants in "sanctuary" areas. It is not humane.
Let's not forget the slap that they are giving to Every American citizen. We are All being forced to subsidize Non citizens.
If 80% of our US Citizens chose to abide in God's good common sense laws 80% of the time, we would prevail. It's that simple really.

Some of us who paid into the system by working, like social security when you become disabled, don't receive even half of what they do. Yet those who come here illegally the benefits they receive, for free, include housing, Healthcare, money, expensive phones, clothes, school, and when you add it all up were talking several thousands per month. But if you are a citizen, who worked and paid into the system and you became disabled, you barely get a thousand a month, no housing, you pay for your Healthcare, no food stamps, etc etc etc. It's wrong on so many levels. I couldn't walk into Mexico and get treated like a celebrity. Nope if I tried to enter another country illegally, I would be arrested, jailed, and immediately deported after serving a prison sentence.

I’m so sorry. My father had Parkinson’s for 37 years. He only got disability for the last 8 years of his life (he only got that because it was due to the Agent Orange in Vietnam and my God the red tape) and my mother who was married to him for 4 months shy of 45 years gets shi+ now except a secondary insurance coverage. I honestly pray your dad gets some kind of back pay. It’s a horrible way to watch your father die. Please don’t let him give up on that at least but at 69 he has bypassed disability and will get the same amount as social security UNLESS he was military. If he was military, don’t give up! Those @$$holes come with big back pay checks in their back pockets!! Even though once your dad hit 65 the insurance side rolls to secondary and it all goes to whatever Medicare will pay for primarily and that blows!!! Just don’t give up!

I agree with tucker. I think Martha’s Vineyard, aspen, Burlington, and Malibu would make excellent bus drop points to relocate illegal immigrants in order to increase the diversity of those communities. Additionally Rehobeth beach would be outstanding choices. I think the governors of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona should all work hard to make this happen.
