Looking to add either alpha crux or phaze 2 to my arsenal... Going by the numbers looks like phaze 2 picks up earlier. But i want something that is gonna have some teeth to eat up the pattern. I just recently bowled on a pattern that seemed like a sports pattern and i struggled to find the pocket. And I don't have anything with any surface most of my equipment is shiny. I was thinking alpha crux with a early roll and control type layout. I would like to hear your comparison between these two balls and what would you suggest.

How does this ball do on dry lanes and medium oil lanes?

Love watching Scott throw the ball. Not sure about the different setup though
