Based on your review, I bought this machine but can't say I'm too happy with it. I do not get anywhere near as much crema as you and others do with this machine. I'm using fresh beans which I grind at every use. And I am using a burr grinder. My crema is nonexistent. My tampers are clean and level, and I don't overfill. I've tried playing with different grinds, from really fine to slightly coarse. I am not sure what exactly is going on. I've tried different tamper pressures. I will note that the espresso doesn't come out too hot. I changed the temperature to the highest setting as well. I've rewatched this video and others to try to catch what I'm doing differently but I don't find any difference. I'm beginning to think my machine is defective. Btw I am using Mayorga Organics Café Cubano (whole beans). Any advice is gladly welcomed. Thanks!
Hey, can you put a thermometer in after your extraction? Any thermometer will work. Also, try this, fill your portafilter halfway( with fine grounds), then tamp super hard, then fill again and tamp hard. You should be doing a shot before you run your extraction (just run a shot into your cup without the portafilter.
Lovely video! Had my phillips espresso maker 3200 for 4 yrs making 3 cappachinos and 2 lattes everyday I love it but time for a new?? this I’m wondering about much less $$ have you done a comparison video? Which gives hotter coffee? Do you use espresso beans? I love grinding coffee etc. Husband a big NO so ..?? Also can I use my heavy cream or will it clog it? Thx for your help! Wonderful video👍❤️
Great questions. I'll give a simple answer. Philips makes a much better coffee machine. This device will not be as good as the 3200. But it will be better than a Keurig. The frother says only whole milk, so I didn't try heavy whipping cream.
Thank you! Have you had the Phillips 3200 leak yet? Had for 4 yrs started not frothing leaking from bottom I changed the 3 red gaskets ( got great Phillips kit) seems to have fixed problem but we’re getting this smaller one for our Fl. Condo and getting your grinder you have to make it easier. Thanks for great video! 👍❤️
@tracymarie5 this is the one I have Philips 1200 Series Fully Automatic Espresso Machine, Classic Milk Frother, 2 Coffee Varieties, Intuitive Touch Display, 100% Ceramic Grinder, AquaClean Filter, Aroma Seal, Black (EP1220/04) a.co/d/5lNlW6K
This is what I do. Just buy the verity pack of syrups, then figure out what's your favorite, and just buy it. Here is a link Torani Variety Pack a.co/d/9ev2iCN
Wish you would mention how hot the latte is
It was between 140 and 155 degrees fahrenheit
👍🏽🇮🇹 awesome review brother I appreciate it. I just ordered this one tonight on Amazon.

Yes whole milk...
How do I make flavored cuppuccinos?
This is what I do. Just buy the verity pack of syrups, then figure out what's your favorite, and just buy it. Here is a link Torani Variety Pack a.co/d/9ev2iCN
The best way is to add the syrup to your cup first, then make your Cappuccino finally stir and enjoy.
Good video ... Can I use e.s.e pods with this machine ?
Yes you can 👌
Thanks
