The guy on the guitar is known by one name in Australia... MOSSY!! His name is Ian Moss and he's a legend. He had his own successful solo career. His classic song is 'Tucker's Daughter'.
If you haven't done it yet, the song Bow River at the same concert pictured is unbelievable. Other than that the film clip working class man is CLASSIC and another unofficial Aussie anthem for the working class. One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard...so much emotion, such a different arrangement for song & perfectly describing the disorientation facing soldiers returning from war.

I have watched your reactions previously and this time when you ask for recommendations I thought I had better check out who you have reviewed before now. Well my very old arthritic hands finally gave up and I thought to myself “just make the recommendation and if it’s been done, well and good”. So here goes. I have been a music fan since the 1950’s and I still listen today and love singers/bands from every decade but over the last couple of years of Covid I made up a long play list covering music of 70 years but also a small play list of today’s music I love that I have to listen to every day #1 is Hold Me by the Teskey Brothers LIVE at the Forum on CZcams are from my country Australia and from the USA, #2 is Angels (Don’t Always Have Wings) by Thomas Rhett and #3 is Gold by Tolan Shaw. Thank you and I an only a new subscriber so I know many other requests will come before mine. ❤️
John did a version of this song at his Whispering Jack concert, and it is brilliant. He also teamed up with Jimmy and did a shortened version. Jimmy's not so great in this one as he was a last minute addition and didn't get a chance to warm up. But I love it because they both have a great time and it shows the love and respect between the two.
John did a cover of it at hes last time concert and it was the best version i have ever heard ,it was amazing ,time for you to make your mind up ,have a listen to Johns version .

I don’t like the Farnham version of this song as the way it is rearranged missed the point of how this version builds up as it goes along.
