Having lived in Germany I can tell you it gets really foggy out there. These bright lights have probably saved my rear a few times on the Autobahn.

Thanks so much for posting this! I've had the car for awhile and never noticed this feature 🤣

Just bought a 2015 Audi A3 last week. Two of the things that bother me the most are no front fog lights (have rear) and no puddle lights. I don't know if you've thought about adding them but they would make for a great video! As far as your reverse lights go you have two options! Buy Cree LED reverse plug n play lights or use LED headlight bulbs and JB weld them into the housing. I've done the later on my last two vehicles and it works amazing and has insane light output 👌🏼😬

Note that during the day, when you press the rear fog button, the main headlights light up too automatically whether you’re on auto, dip or off, so you’ll not only be flashing fog lights at whoever is behind, but flashing your main beams at the cars coming at you or in front of you. I’ve used this once before but you need to have headlights on for it to not confuse cars in front. You could inadvertently flash a car to pull out on you.

In Germany, this is not a secret button but that is the dipped beam that is used in the dense fog to be seen by the others.

Those are rear fog lights and should only be used poor visibility. Fog, snow or heavy rain.

A3/S3/RS3s w/ Full LED headlights, this button also activates the front foglights. Still dont know where they are in the headlight but it adds a ton of light to your side views!
