I've had my 2012 for 4 years and have never looked into the features. Came here wondering how the door code can be programmed but learned some things regardless. One of the things I picked up from you is the rear heat control. Something that irks the hell out of me is when I hit the rear wiper by accident...it seems to never want to turn off and the wiper diagram isn't easy to understand which way is off. Thank you for this.
ParkeCore personal training PT hey, I’m UK based too, and was wondering your thoughts on the q7 you just picked up? I planning on purchasing one but unsure. I guess I’m worried about breakdown and general problems with the car. Any advice? Thanks :)
Evade God hi I would say there great depending on the age and mileage making sure it’s had a gearbox service and also a scan for any codes which could point to problems. Check on the air Supension and tyres for wear. Hope that is of help
Well, i have had a audi a6 3.2 with same interior (2007). These things you say, i knew about them as i am a thorough check everything guy so i spent a week learning the car and was set! They were never a surprise for me. Plus before that i had another Audi, and another, and..you get the point. Good video tho😉
Great video, Not sure if you still have the Q7 but it looks like there is tint on the tail lights or a darkened cover. I love the look of the tail lights and I want to darken ours. I plan to put the black audi badges on the back! thanks!
What year is yours? I don't have the Q7 anymore but you have to enable the settings in the MMI. From there you set everything you want and store it in Memory 1 or 2. Get out of the car and press the lock button on the remote you want to store. Then repeat steps for the second key. Make sure you're not doing this with both keys in the car with you. I hope this helps.
Tarrance King jr I got rid of it because wanted something a little more compact, More power but I didn’t want to drop into a Q5. So the X5 fit right between.
@@eddiemcars I'm also thinking that for my next car I want to go something a little more compact, I got a Q5 as a loaner once and thought it was a bit too small and tight...how does the X5 compare to the Q5 in terms of space inside the car seating area.
ZadiusTech if you get the comfort rear seats. Which means that they can slide/fore and aft and recline. I think it’s roughly an one inch less leg room than the Q7 from what I can tell. My family of 4 fits perfectly with extra room. The cargo area is slightly less than the Q7 but more than the Q5. If you have a second I to watch I have a review of both cars on my channel. 2018 Q5 and 2014 X5.
They can last a long time if it's well maintained. If it fits your budget and maintained well, then the mileage isn't relevant. How long would you plan to keep it? If it's a ”forever”car then I would look into something with lower mileage.
K’ona Lisa I sold it for the BMW X5. It was actually a good car. I had it service for one minor problem that turned out to be a bad ground wire. Other than that it was just schedule maintenance
The IronFist there really isn't much difference between a 2011-2015. The options that were available changed. It shouldn't cost a lot of maintain. Do your research and check the previous history to make sure it wasn't in and out of the service every other day but other than that the service interval is every 10,000 miles or once a year whichever comes first. Budget $200-$500 dollars for those and you should be ok.
Excellent info, thanks
Great tips!

If you press the fuel tank open button by accident while the car is moving the fuel lid does not open. it only opens when vehicle is parked
Great vid man. Just picked one of these bad boys up I’m in the uk. 😊👍

Top specs still have door handles on passenger side with memory seat controls. Just diff door for driver side for blindspot monitoring buttons
Can you go over climate section again including the “setup” button? I can’t figure out why my ac isn’t working and want to make sure it’s not off.
I love my 2k11 q7 TDI. It's 1 of the best cars I have ever had.
You really saved a lot of time there by typing 2k11 instead of 2011. Lyfe hacks yo

hey man. ay want to ask. something??? ay want to buy a q7 2014 tfsi. or tdi. how you think is good engine???
Nice, I have the same car , can you do a video about the memory seat and the steering wheel for each key set up...

@@eddiemcars 2011, thanks
There is a little button on the steering column of my 2013 Q7 just below the tilt and telescopic that i can't figure out what it's for. Any idea?
The round one? It disables the automatic tilt/telescope when getting in and out of the car.
@@eddiemcars Thanks👍
Yeah, it’s an unbelievably clever car and very convenient, there’s much more of those tricks usual cars doesn’t have
Hey does this car take an aux cord?
Why did you get rid of it? Thinking about buying one.

Cool do you still have the tl 2004?
No I ended up selling it. It was a fun car while I had it.
Is it worth getting a q7 over 100k mile, how long do they last roughly

Got the same q7 u doing any upgrades
I sold it. When I had it, I just did the aesthetics. Smoked the lights and the badges.
Edward M Cars why did u sell it? Any problems?
