    The video showing it super easy to take off the back is extremely misleading. It was clearly already loose when he started the video. It's very tight and hard to remove.

    • @lhx9696
      @lhx9696 Před 8 měsíci +16

      I opened mine to check if there was a loose plastic piece as my vent had a crack in it from a fall (oops). There was no broken piece inside but the fall must have unclicked the case internally.
      Tip for anybody opening it with a plastic piece (i used a guitar pick), start from the back where all the ports are. It is a lot easier to wedge and unclick the case there, especially from where the vents are.

    Does anyone know the model of the heatsinks used in the Legion 7, the fan on the left side on this video is showing its age being unable to make quiet rotations and pauses making my framerate go very downhill. I bought it more time for a temporary fix with aeroshell grease which works, but I think a fresher model would be assuring.

      @@kennymungarro2398 hi. I added evo970 2tb as the second sdd, the first one is stock 1tb. So 970 works good, I don't have any problems with it, however it is said that it is old gen bla bla bla. The only issue is that it is not supported by Samsung's software, so i don't know about firmware update etc. Also lenovo vantage app doesn't fully understand 970 ssd, so it shows that it is 100% filled.

    This laptop is driving me insane, I have it connected to a 4k 144hz HDR monitor and the fan keeps spinning for every small task that I do like browsing or opening folders. This is not the case when I run it on battery mode and just use it as a laptop. Nothing helps fixing this, not even lenovo ventage, lenovo fan control, turning off Mcafee, almost like it's on safe mode from overheating.
