- How to Boost Minecraft FPS and Optimise Performance on a Low End PC. This was interesting.
LIKE and SUBSCRIBE if you're new! Hope you guys all enjoy :)
In today's video I decided to try and improve the FPS of my Low End Laptop that I've been doing videos on recently. The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1564 and I'm trying to boost the FPS of Minecraft 1.8.9, I try various Windows 10 Optimisation tricks as well as OPTIMISE the Windows registry and Try a Minecraft PvP Client and even play Minecraft Bedrock Edition - Pretty jam packed video with lots of great info you don't want to miss!
Lets see how I get on trying to fix minecraft lag on a low end PC without a graphics card just like some of you guys out there do. I ran some FPS boost techniques and optimisations to try get the most FPS I possibly could with the best fps boost settings.
Hope you guys all enjoy this new type of video if you guys could like subscribe and comment that would really mean a lot on a video so the video reaches as many people as possible.

Finally, a CZcamsr who uses the word "optimise" instead of "optimize"
lol he from uk thats the reason
@@xgreeny and in India it's a type of uk English so we basically use uk english
@@forfunchannel3599 ikr we use hybrid, we say foothpath, and many other that are mixed lmao
Damn how do I have these many likes
@@forfunchannel3599 im also indian btw
Very helpful thanks for making this video!
I did what you said and then your tips in your last video about fps boost, result? I had 110 FPS but when I didn't optimize I was getting 30 fps-40 fps so I improved even more, add 8x texture pack and boom my intel i3, igpu laptop is now optimized getting more than framerate the screen could produce and holy cow I can't believe 100 frame rate can be run in windows 7 with a 10 year old cpu with only 60 Hz monitor Thank you so much
this is increadible!! good job dan
Love your videos! keep on going :)
I have my low-end laptop of Dell. Thanks for this tutorial. I've already optimized my laptop a bit but this method take me from 60 to 100 fps on my low end pc.
Honesty if you have a 60hz monitor then you won’t notice the difference between 60 and 100
@@SlimmerJarl ig I cap my fps at 80 even though I have a 60hz monitor cos it's not too much on the CPU and if I cap at 60 it goes below to 59 sometimes
@@SlimmerJarl who cares tho, if you have more it still feels smoother, i use to play on a pc with 1000 fps and it just felt better to have
@@supersaiyan23130 yea well it doesn’t actually do anything it’s still the same as 60 fps
@@supersaiyan23130 it shouldn't feel any different though, 60 hz only displays 60fps so the extra 940 fps can't be noticed whatsoever
Bro this helped so much, thanks man
Thanks! You Really Boosted My FPS From 0 To 60-70 . I Have A Decent 4 GB Ram Laptop And It Works So Good 😍
@gitburrito yeah
not gonna lie, this really helped my i3 3110m intel hd 4000 laptop!
first minecraft related youtuber i can trust, finally!
bedrock edition is like a mix between 1.8 and the newer updates so i love it
bedrock has no gravity.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS VID
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS VID
Great vid really helps me.
The thing about render distance is when kept on tiny or 2 as you know really gives out a large amount of stutter because especially when your having a cpu slower than snail it could really stress it by loading and unloading the chunk again and again while you look around but 4 makes it a descent space for you to walk around which decreases your overall fps but also stabilising it and I would recommend you also lock your fps in 30 if your using unlimited which most of the people are and it would really stabilise your fps even on the latest version
+ fog 0.2
I love watching your low end laptop videos and it really has helped me optimize my laptop. I would love it SO much if you did a bedrock edition optimizing video since it is my main game
yea dude i need it
poor skill issue
@@Squidd_y ah yes, its a skill issue 🤡
Bedrock is already optimized to its full potential if it doesn't run on your computer, you have a bad computer sorry
Thank you for this tut i used to get 60-100 fps now a I get 400-2000 fps! Thank you
thx this helped a lot
What I do for performance is the GUI Scale, it sounds weird but I found out that in my brothers PC that is 9 years old, that setting the GUI scale to normal or small(Small not recommended) actually increased his performance.
Also btw temp folders do slow down your programs because some need to “optimize” them. But it clears about 1% of lag from clearing like 3.4gb of storage
How do you optimise them?
@@GG-wq6rp don’t delete temp folders
also temp folders can contain your desktop for some reason. i once cleared temp folder (%localappdata% one) and I just cleared my entire desktop...
@@SanekGamer007you're not supposed yo delete those folders.
using windows 7 or 8.1 increases ure fps greatly u should check it out in ure next video
Edit your comment and let him use FoxOS 1.7.0 which is a pre-tweaked windows 7
Security go bye bye
@@eMarce1. exactly lmao
i found that offline cheatbreaker is super smooth. not necessarily more (a little better than lunar) fps but it feels way smoother
Nice video !
it helped a TON
Nice vid I love these
this helped alot
enabling the smooth fps and render regions and all in optifine settings will boost ur fps more, next time try to do that...
But still a good video!!
Yes new video
You can apply low settings in salwyrr client by going to salwyrr settings and click on performance
Bro lets go he played build ffa im like a lover for it
Tysm for posting this cause without this i wouldve have been stuck on 15 fps now im getting over 100 fps
samee
The MultiMedia part System Profile isn't showing up for my pc bruh
you are the best❤
not quite sure you've tried this but you could try messing around with task manger priorites. maybe to to set the application priority to ethier "high" or
"realtime"
I tried this manytime before and i recommend using High priority if u want some stable fps since realtime destroy ur fps on low end
@@dnrd4u162 yes, obviously since windows services also need to work. On medium end systems realtime priority shouldn't really be used ethier since it will probably make your CPU quite hot.
only time when realtime priority should be used is if you have a system you don't really care about.
I really wanna see “ how much fps can you get on Minecraft “ as a title and he gets a really good pc and sees how much fps he could get out of it
Nice video :)
You can use %temp% along with the temp command.
thanks u r the best
There is also another way of optimizing with process lasso or task manager by putting Minecraft on real time
i recommend if your done playing go to task manager and end task the java thing it's an duplicate it will make lag spikes
YES FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO A VID ON OPTIMISEING BEDROCK EDITION
Thanks for This Video for me can get +200 FPS
If your playing 1.18 on a low end system play feather client with:
-Sodium
-Lithium
-Starlight
-Clumps
-LazyDfu
it gives you way better fps and the game looks better. Hope this helps:)
All of them?
@@SCOR-i978 yes
honestly best way to boost fps is use a 8x8 block overlay over any pack and just use lowest setting but nothing over 6chunks
Request make a mobile client video please love your content
Please make a Video on how to improve & optimise Minecrafts Performance on a M1 Mac Book
you should try minecraft m1 using native java as m1 is now officially supported for better performance
I have seen many CZcamsrs but notrodan is my inspiration
I AM 1000th LIKE!!
Try turning smart animation on 👌
Is the regedit step same for windows 7, or is it different. I can't upgrade to windows 10 because of an error so I do need a answer as this is important and I don't want to ruin my pc.
The best way to optimize your pc for gaming is to upgrade it. That method works all of the time
I watch your videos!
that will delete the purpose of this video
@@saiyanwastaken7617 yeah, ik. But his tweaks are probably the best one you can do if you can't afford an upgrade.
I don't have all that stuff in system profile do I add them by like add new folder or something?
You got more fps with ggos rather then atlast. Maybe you should apply these settings to ggos and try out how much fps more u get?
Hello new subscriber and I like your content can you try out a sever on bedrock edition called the hive it is one of the most popular and try play some treasure wars
turn on fog and set the "Fog Start" to 0.2
Yo ngl not bad doubled my fps
Low windows version can help the performance because win 7 i have 100 fps in my pc ,but in win 10 i have 30 fps all in 1.8.9
I get 300fps win 11.
I get 1000-2500 fps on linux mint
@@locirebaba who asked?
It is true same with mine
Why dont you use linux? Its way better than windows for gaming
@@dansease yeah i have heard. Can you suggest a good linux os good for gaming
what recording are u using?
notrodan do windows key + r same time then type ms config then boot numbers of processors make it to max a possibile cuz it will help you to make all cpu cores to work and boost your pc and thank you
OMG tysm actually this helped me so much i got 200 fps Omg tysm !!!!!!!!11
Its help:)
OMG that voice crack 9:15 Haha
Ayo nice
What recorder u use?
Ok. Nerd talk time. Gamemode: usually works for newer chips but isn’t good for older amd chips. Process lasso is probably the best 3rd party software there is to help performance. Regedit: works but ppl have to be very cautious when being there (it can break pc very easily). In gamemode settings you can set high performance to Minecraft. Minecraft settings: turn off and on VBOS. Idk why or how it works but it helps usually. Turn ON smart animations.
Probably best client to use is fabric mod loader and use these mods: sodium (must have), starlight or phosphor (optional, better lights performance), distant horizons (optional, ads LOD to Minecraft)
Thanks for showing MCBE!
Also another optimization is using WARP it lowers your ping
when i delete all the files in the "temp" is it just junk files that are not useful?
What pack did u use in this video ?
Atlas seems like a good stripped down version of Windows to run a home server on, would you agree? Or is it just for low end gaming.
i run a mcbe server there its perfect
HI for the change in the registering my pc is 64bit and ther was saying if ue 32 is it ok for me to change
The best thing is to Downgrade to older windows versions for example is 8.1/7
thx
Bro i want you to make a minecraft survival videos with your gaming pc
ye please do a bedrockedition optimisation and good clients
Hi, notro I've already tried and i am now again trying to play on salwyrr with atlas os but salwyrr doesn't launch. When i press launch everything happens but then the client doesn't start. I don't know why can you tell me or can anyone tell me why?
Also i can't use tlauncher
do a minecraft bedrock optimization video pls
Go to performance and turn off smooth fps and click apply low settings in salwyrr client settings not in video settings
What client should i download for vanilla minecraft?
you can try clearing "%temp%" , "temp" and "prefetch" after any updates for some slight improvements. removes residual files and useless traces
hey dude does %temp% remove your data bcz it says some discord stuff is here
@@muhammadayansuhail6634 it should not, if you installed discord recently, it might be because of that. it still does not matter, as you can delete it.
I bet 102975 I have not been pinned. Keep up the great wrk btw
I tried to turn it on before and everything I tried to turn it on is showing an error
7:16
can you make it for bedrock edition please
Hey dan,can you install linux on this laptop?
Download timers resolution and men reduct.
I always have them running in the background
8:58 Actually for me when i turn on fog i get more fps and its also look cool for me
For next video try Minecraft on Raspberry pi
bro can you help me my laptop is not that good and whenever i go to full screen my game crashes and i use tlaucher if you make a video about it. it will help alot or just reply to me and tell me how to fix it
Your low end pc is better then my potato pc
Isn’t bedrock edtition optimized for ARM instead of x86? An Allso it’s faster bc it is written in c++
Can u do this on a 2018 lenovo laptop cause that's what I play on so I wanna see
I have a acer nitro 5, and no matter what I do, I cannot get above 5 fps in minecraft when i try to use and mods or shaders, I am so frustrated
so i actually managed to run minecraft 1.7.2 from 1 fps to a 100 fps, not kiding, i didnt even expect my random settings will boost the fps, i just changed every setting to the lowest end with optifine and there we go i got 100 fps, the rendering is bugged so i turned of fast rendering then got back to 30 fps.
what shaders do you have?
Dan Pls make a optimization of Bedrock Version
0:39
well I mean like bedrock edition runs very and really good on low-end pcs. it was also mad to be for all devices. and the pc version of bedrock edition is minecraft for windows 10. but java would lag a lot due to it being outdater and bedrock edition is made in c++ [keep in mind though, that c++ is older than java but for some reason it runs better than java)
and if you play bedrock edition on a really good gaming pc then it'll be even way smoother lol.
Hi,can you help on how to boost fps in minecraft 1.18 on a low end laptop.
You can go to graphic settings and add javaws file location (on task manager ya can check at the service part and then go to name and click it , after that click J and you should see that there's 2 javaws system running (ohhh and ya need mc java to run too so it will show two of em)then right click on the one that use more memory and go to file location, after that copy the file location of that javaws file (and remember which one is the javaws file get highlighted ) then , go to graphic settings and select desktop app and then paste the file location that you've copy before (if you still dont understand here's the file folders :
C:\Users\[your computer file name]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft
untime\jre-legacy\windows\jre-legacy\bin\[javaw.exe or javaws.exe, ya need to look which one use more memory] ) . After ya done all of that click on the Java(TM) Platform SE binary , and go to option , select high performance and ya good to go
I know this has nothing to do with the video but I am commenting on this because this is the latest optimization video I have seen, I have an rtx 3050 an I play on 1.8.9. I get around 60-100 fps. It might be because I am on a laptop but I still feel like laptop gpus and that much slower than desktop gpus
Please do optimization of low end laptop for minecraft bedrock edition
Bro listen how I can make thumbnail like your this video or your another videos plz tell us
plz tell me how did you install mc bedrock in atlas os
