Great boat, for most of us "less is more" meaning you can't beat the ease of tow, the need for only a small engine to push it, the easy cleanup, and so on. I don't know if this one is self bailing, but many of these Stabcraft are. Small boats have one big advantage beyond what I mentioned--you actually TAKE them with you, because it is so easy. Storage at home is a breeze, the only suggestion I would make: get a bright orange hull, if ofrerred. Because you tend to take this type of boat anywhere and everywhere, you do need to think about being visible to large craft. Marine orange, is hard to beat, IMO.
We had one off shore here in Oregon 13 miles, just matters on conditions

I can tell you stability wise and handling rough-water nothing's going to be just a v craft I have a 1650 Fisher and have had it out and 325 foot waves on Lake Erie and it handled it with no problem I have a friend who went ahead and bought a 1550 Fisher stabicraft and he says he feels much more safe in that 1550 then he did in his 19 and a half foot deep deep boat he had

I do love the ride of the BW however the top enclosure and stability of the Stabi is what would swing my vote.

Hi Adrian, there are only 3 dealers I know of for these. I am not one any longer as I am now at Breen Marine and they don’t have access to Stabicraft. Sorry

Adrian, Breen Marine is in Florence, OR mid coast. I grew up in Brookings not far from ya. Working with an upcoming manufacturer that is very, very talented which might eventually build a better boat than the Stabicraft. That’ll be a while yet.

That one was 30k when video was made. With shortages they are more around 32k now

What would a 70hp be like on that boat please?
About a 40mph boat with the 70. Same power head as a 60 just more hp. Price is about 700 more than a 60.
