Just keep them coming , so entertaining
You need to get a “Leg Arms” Welker there to move the openers on the planter for ya 🙂. He’s only across the fence in Montana 😅
Mick Murphy Lol
That dude's annoying as hell.
@@brianpayne8931 You're annoying as hell.
Leggy would find a way to drop the drill on his arm, for dramatic affect.
Mike you make my day. I look forward to seeing a video everyday. If everyone had you sense of humor and outlook on things this world would be an awesome place. Take care and keep plugging along. Hopefully it won’t take you guys too much longer to get all your seeding done.
"I love it when a plan comes together" :)
"Twice I lifted off the ground" damn mosquitos 😂
Haha 😂 🤷♂️
“Those three times” that is the perfect summary of that age old dilemma of whether to spend money on a farm. Good work sir.
Your positive attitude is infectious.
that corner post is comforting to see like when u come back to your parents for a holiday n u see the front door n u didnt realize how much u missed this place
Mike I watch your videos with great interest. Keep up the good work. Irish man in the Baltics so keep the videos coming.
Oh mike! That’s gonna be a full stuck pot! Stay safe out there!
I don't think I'll ever not be amazed by the size of your fields.
You're the man Mike!! Good looking out
Fun times in the field! Great job getting yourself pulled out alone, pro skills!
Some of the best farm content out there! 100k subs before you know it! Definitely some of the largest/nicest equipment out there!
Thanks Peter!
Another great video Mike, keep em coming!
"notice I'm not jerking on it, not jerking on it, there she comes"
I nearly pissed my pants laughing 😆
Christian Bøgsted Ole Johnny is smooth....... just saying Mike!
I wanna see Mike Fly a spray Plane!!!!!!🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Just love your videos , Here in south of sweden the biggest farm seeds about 8600 acers
Ole slow shifting Johnny lol thanks Mike
Thanks Mike for the update planting is a very stressful time for you chaps out there living in the U.K. I just can’t get my head around the vast distances that separates you from your colleagues.
Love your channel, learning lots
Great recovering that seeder out of the mud👌
Great fun video mike , fun fun in the mud
Thanks Mike!
Another nice video crazy Mike you're all right
Thanks for taking us along! Getting stuck and unhooking and hooking back up can be time consuming and a bit frustrating. When you said you had fifty percent chance in the hydraulic hookup I laughed and said to myself absolutly not! For me it was allways eightypercent wrong! Lol
Hahaha 😂
Great video Mike
Aaaaaaaaaaawsome as usual ! Best youtube content Mike ! 👏👏👏
She worked ya pretty good to drive the Case. She's a smart pants. Good women are always smart.
Haha that's what I am thinking lol 😂
Job well done Mike looking forward to more of BIG RED I remember my dad and uncle telling me how the farm became all red and basically was he asked international ,John deer ,Oliver , and case, to the farm and had a plow down the one that went the fastest and best on fuel won the sale of a new tractor Wich was international harvestore hands down I was told ,my uncle was all red from that day on and still are ,dad had case tractors and my uncle use to Raz me all the time with the only reason people buy case is in case they can't buy anything thing else!! I got even with him when case bought out international harvestores I'll tell ya he works the h, out of them wide open all day long
Great videos, thank you.
As a crane operator I’ve had a bad experience with a master link (d-ring) breaking under its rated capacity, it’s probably in outer space looking to come crashing down at any minute! I didn’t even have the line pull capacity to reach its safe working load capacity. TODAY I witnessed a strap fail using an 750 excavator (170k lbs) and it took the hard hat of a labor. PLEASE avoid using unnecessary rigging and especially metallic (unless cable). It looked like the shackle could have gone directly to the eyelet of that strap but that’s just from my keyboard. Stay safe and thanks for your videos✌️
Hey Mike sounds like you need a good can of bug spray for those mosquitoes. Have a good one stay safe and out of the mud haha
Man it makes my day getting that notification, love your bids 👍👍
Haha thanks!
Oh! Hey guys! Ohhhh Big gulps huh?(Canadian version: ehhh?) Alright! Whelp! See yah later!!
Hahaha, that's what u reminded me of when u left jd's cab.
We run a deere 9560 chipped and case 620, I ran the deere for the most of spring and ran the case for a day I thought it was quieter, the case pulls better and better on fuel, also I love the visibility in case can see my hitch.
That sure is a good looking red tractor
With the hyd hoses I try to color code with elec tape or put tape on negative hose so number of strips equals bank number.
Awesome! It’s like you did that before. 🙂
You are cool, Mike!!
I'm a city guy .. my brother in-law a farmer in Engelfeld SK .. me helping him out back in 2003 .. pulling cultivator .... his words ... if you start spinning .. stop immediately.. lift cultivator .. pull the pin.. then pull the cultivator out with a chain .. I had to do this...saved me from sinking the tractor .. every tractor always has a chain ..just in case.. YES ..he should change over to straps !!!!! good video .. keep them coming
Ashtyn”can I drive a case now?”
Mike “ yes, here’s the patriot”
Great video. That Ashton's not going to be happy with you. Her 3 stuck, Now when all said and done I like to know who wins the pot of money. Still rooting for Ashton, God bless you all. Been watching the farmers in Michigan seeded land all flooded!
Nothing better than when you improvise and it actually works. HATE MUD🤬
great job
Good attitude!
Got er done! Speaking of it being wet! Man we just had 5 inches of rain here in North Carolina after having Bedded up 95 acres of p nut land Monday! Rain started Tuesday night and we definitely wont get back in the field until next week and that's if it doesn't rain! We've also got corn that badly needs to be laid by with nitrogen because its growing like crazy!
It should be pointed out for those that might not know, Johnny is now pulling the seeder that the Fendt was pulling 68 ft, which is not as big as the seeder that the Case is now pulling 84 ft, because Johnny couldn't :)
And a beautiful, sunny Thursday from NH to you Mike.
Have you started having 'tractor stuck' nightmares yet..
Thank you for the tag along ❤️ ❤️
Oh yes... So Ashytn tho 😂
🤣🤣🤣
@@mikemitchell2554 A farmer friend of mine got his tractor stuck. He drove it into a magnetic field.
@@AureFreePress groan🤦♂️...😁
@@Grimskarr ok.. You asked for it... Did you hear about the magician farmer.... He turned his tractor into a barn.. 🤣🤣 I warned you 👅
Nice work, Good videos. Why not consider Titan tires LSW rather than tracks? Beter traction, good floatation, less cost, nicer ride.
Still Shift’in! 👍
I was thinking the whole time you were driving to Ashton's tractor "Mike, your not getting the case back. That was her plan the whole time😆" Ashton, ya later me down. I would have left his stuff by the approach😉
Hahah 😂..
Hi love the video
Mike stay safe pulling a tractor ,a farmer here in South Dakota got killed yesterday trying to pull a tractor and planter with chains
My brother and I nearly died before.. But that's why we are careful
careful (?).............could someone rewind and show that vid of a certain unnamed farmer riding riding on the edge of a moving drill................ ; - )
@@steveducell2158 I believe he was talking about being careful while pulling, he doesn't watch YT videos so he probably didn't see that unnamed farmers video :)
@@Matevz96 no.. he create them! 😂 check previous video
@@tommydesmarais697 When he pulled that stunt I noticed he reduced the risk (but not eliminated) by getting on the outside furthest back portion of the drill. If he slipped off he would've been in the clear. Kakulated krazy...
This proves a point to all the JD Green paint panty wearers out there that it doesn’t matter the colour of the iron. Mud is mud! Yesterday’s video Green was trashing Red. No comments from Green today! Lol. Whoever has not worked in wet slick gumbo dirt before doesn’t know what they are missing. Any colour of paint gets stuck!
Color means nothing in wet ground.
Mike, if you look up the Nebraska Tractor test reports, the Case achieved a higher max draft pull vs 9RX. Good to see that the test results translate into real world as well. At one point, the AGCO MT900 had the record for highest draft, not sure if that still stands, but might be worth having your AGCO/Fent Dealer bring out a MT975 sometime.
I have been waiting for them 🤔🤷♂️
crazy tractors
O'l Johnny & Red......see how much fun they make your life Mike. Whatever animal got hit on that dirt road in the middle of nowhere is pretty unfortunate. Probably only 10 vehicles a day go down that road and it couldn't avoid one of them!! That's rough. Lol
Risk It for the Biscuit 👍 - Doug in Iowa
Haha the crazy things I always say🤷♂️😂🤦♂️
The way we keep track of the hydraulic hoses, we use colored zip ties. Put the same color on the paired hoses then put a red zip tie on the right hand one. We always use red for the right hand hose or if they hook up top and bottom , blue is always bottom.
For a second I thought you were going to go pull her out with your truck 😂
Well it is a Ford 😉
@@mikemitchell2554 so it would die in five seconds
@@idoitreviews9053 if you drive it like a bmw owner it will
lol ... ya right
I love theses comments! 😂 You guys are awesome
U guys must go threw unreal amount of seed and fert!!!
Unreal
@@mikemitchell2554 I bet when you have to write the cheque for it, it seems pretty real!!!
nice Slackline Mike:)
Lol image if he drinks a red bull 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍seed on
The best tractor set-up for mud is a big articulated tractor with 30 or 36in triples. But then they're to wide for roading.
Nice pull out sideways i have a nifty idea put a hughe old disk blade pinned to bottom of jack slide sideways etc but no big deal We had an extended hitch built pinned on the Steiger tractor hitch could see to hook up and we could turn headlands in one pass yes could turn in 1/2 of the 55 ft airseeder great for bushes and sloughes too (thr outside sections lifted seperate from the centre( lift it out when wheels start sinking in the mud) it takes time to make extra headlands etc Time is money getter done.
First buddy we are stcuck here as you lollll damnnnn itttt
In Louisiana (south in the USA) we call mosquitoes that can pick you up mosgeters
I think Ashytn's just happy it wasn't Ole Red!! 😅😅😂🤣🤣🚜
Mike definitely can't go without his lunch. Or the mosquitos won't just lift him off the ground. They will carry him back to Alberta where they came from.😂🤣
Mike
In the previous video with the ole Johnny when you were cleaning out the tumble weeds
What are your thoughts on going to the 120” tracks spacing with 30”
Ps I enjoy your vids, one of the few farmers on her with big iron
"Easy...easy...easy" Made me think of Homer Simpson for some reason. 😂
6:13 guess that is what you were talking about before with embarrassing stucks on tracks
You have your phone to take a picture of the pipes and cables.. to refit them.. lol
When it comes to these tractors drills combines is their such thing as to big. For you guys? In our area fields we farm 30’ is as wide as we can use practically.
Mon dieu !
This new farming simulator looks almost like the real thing 👀
très bien 👌🏻
Hook ol red up against johnny in a tug o war. Im sure the red dealer wont mind lol
I would love to come work for y'all for real. Every day with u would be a adventure. An we got giant mosquitoes in Arkansas. Dang mosquito spray don't work very well around here.
I was thinking pressure, while you were driving away, even before you mentioned it, to get the jack down.
👌🙂
You should try 4wds weighted up with big metric duals or tractor with triples to see if they can out pull quadtracs
lol up and down the hills
Still waiting for some case action 😉👍
Be safe when walking the tight stap
Buenos días, muy buenos videos, también siembran maíz
Your problems with changes seeding depth reminds me too well of changing that on a JD 90 series no-till drill.
They Suck to Change!!!
So with the rain you do any maintenance, servicing, rest time or head to a drier block and keep going?
Mike, how many acres do you'll plant. Great videos
Common sense and a little ingenuity goes along way buddy
I reckon with a bit of trial and error you could probably machine up a simple tool that would apply pressure in the right places to make that adjustment process faster and less painful, ever tried?
Actually Ashtyn should not be criticized for getting stuck, rather praised for trying to get maximum acres seeded. Give her a bonus. Trust me, it will be worth it.
Kirk Gibbs Mike’s work crew jokingly give each other a hard time about getting stuck and part of the farming operation is the STUCK POOL that everyone participates in.
No one wants to rack up the most stucks because that person has to clean the shop washroom.
The person with the least amount of stucks also wins all the money from the lottery stuck pool.
Mike & I joked that Ashtyn may have got STUCK INTENTIONALLY this time so she could drive the CASE as that is her FAVOURITE brand of equipment.
Ashtyn easily pulls her own weight and more plus can easily show the guys up.
Wat up... ring a ding ding lol
😂 Nice!
You should make smooth your field, its very rough.
If you drag heavy object in your field after ploughing, makes little smooth
They don't typically till and they don't plow. Check back a couple of videos to see a rare till job and hear his explanations.
Have you ever considered wheeled tractors with LSW 1400's, I ve seen pictures on the gram so I know they get stuck too but it was something I wanted to ask when the great distance you guys have between fields if it would float enough in the field and save some coin on wear parts roading?
john slow shifting who would thought ..lol u need permission letter b4 take off lol
Top mano
Mike on a good day how many acres can yall get planted with those massive drills?
Do you think Ashtyn got STUCK INTENTIONALLY so she could drive the CASE.
The $10.00 stuck fee was worth it for her to sit in a RED cab.😂🤣
Possession is 9/10ths of the law so you may not get her out of the Case cab till seeding is done.
Haha 😂 she would definitely do that!
Gavin Perry What’s so special about Case?
deerepasture Ashtyn LOVES CASE, she sometimes wears a case hat & hoody. ❤️❤️
She tolerates other colours but DEFINITELY has a preference.
Mike may have to buy her some CASE equipment as a wedding gift.💑💎
He could even write the wedding gift off as a farming expense 😂🤣
He is going to have to buy a tractor for her, for sure! Girl knows how to ride! Forget that crappy Lamborghini, get me a US $600,000 steiger. That'll do. Ha!
120 tonne seeding rigs.no wonder they sink!!😂🤣😎🚜lol
Haha
@@mikemitchell2554 top notch content sir!!👍👌😎🙂
At that point those weight racks gotta be nothing more than decoration.
Well, the tracks are floating, so, working as intended. Beats digging holes.
It no fun trying to unhook in a mud hole but you made it look easy
You can tell Ashtyn is experienced at getting stuck...because she quit trying early and that made for an easier getting out.
Just wondering...was that $20 or $40 for the "stuck" pot?
