'Anglia Roads' at the Felixstowe Model Railway Show 2022.

'Anglia Roads' is the clubs portable scenic layout. This is a short film of club members putting the layout up at the 2022 Felixstowe Model Railway Show.
Gauge 1 Live Steam - and Diesel - East Anglia Group. Aster, Accucraft, Bowande, kit built and scratch built Loco's.

Wonderful stuff as usual. I take my hat off to all those dedicated individuals who take the time and effort to show their layouts at exhibitions around the country. Personally, I could never do that myself. Aside from the fact that my layout was not constructed in that way, I would never be able to reassure myself that it would look "right" again once dismantled and re-assembled. Still, to each their own, and this does appear to be very much a club activity and it does give us all the opportunity to see these unique models.

Thanks. Their were fewer of us setting up this time - as opposed to at Bicester two weeks ago. But this is the shorter version, and it all one went together quite quickly - helped by much better light. It's a shame we can't do more shows, but apart form the logistics, it can necessitate staying over in hotels etc. But it is great meeting 'normal' people and sharing the spectacle with them.
