Exactly it’s always an excuse my tuner lied to me , my car was spinning Evernote though mikes car spins the whole time and he starts in the wrong gear and still gaps them , oh my 1000 hp gtr will beat him or if I tune my 720 it will beat the vette , if a corner comes up the vette will be in the bushes meanwhile the vette handles better than that super car lol I know mike has to be laughing inside when he drags all these modes cars that are heavily modded , make more power and supercars with close to the same power but are much lighter than his core with every excuse in the book. Just say I lost . Most of these CZcamsrs

Excuses are to those who drive these everyday cars that are bought and not built. The only American car worth getting excited about is the C8 with a flat plane crank. Stock cross plane is same old same old. Mid engine and cross plane =real racing . balanced chassis and a no compromise powertrain chevy's ability to do this at such a cost makes them a pioneer. I know the flat plane engine isnt cheap hut still 200k mid engine cross plane vette still worth it.

Well U guys even realize its just a MUSTANG, not a front engine RWD supercar like Corvette, even SS717 admitted its crazy fast considering its a whopping 4100 lbs car as opposed to his 3689 lbs machine, I challenge U guys to put 500 lbs ballast in the Ss717 ZR1 and do rematch and see what happens
See the S550 chassis is in no way doing justice to that Ford insane Predator motor, even while having such a penalty chassis on its keeping up which by no means needs an excuse

You absolutely had that gt500 on the top end. You were pulling on it pretty hard. The guy didn’t want to admit it because putting that much into something like that, taking an L is hard. Goes to show you even though he is making a good bit more power, your power to weight is unmatched. Take the wing off next race after he puts the throttle body in and you might still pull on him. Good video.

Also the Mikes ZR1 is a Corvette its the most aerodynamic front engine RWD machine not just Chevy makes but best aerodynamic machine of its kind, compared to that the GT500 has a much bigger body, way more air resistance as well .
You're right... I didn't think about the weight difference until after I made my comment.
Not saying you aren't right, but the GT500 was making more WHP which for the weight isn't a dramatic difference between the two, and it is using a dual clutch trans I think that makes it an even fight
Ponygt 662 the ZR1 has amazing aerodynamics specifically for the track. The drag coefficient isn’t that perfect to race on a straight line, the GT500 may be heavier but it doesn’t have all that downforce slowing him down.

BBC Yup i mean, the fact that i can go faster in a zr1than a senna, look better and not have to worry about crazy repair costs and get better track times than most mclarens whilst only spending half of the cheapest mclaren might say something. Look Mclaren is a cool brand and they used to mean something but its just so funny how in today’s world you can but a $100,000 that outperforms a $300,000 one . Also mclarens are british so ofc they are unreliable .
Worse quality? They have a carbon fiber frame? Yes they break down but that’s still overthought as I have had friends with McLaren which have had no problems ever

Helps to know what your talking about or at least listen as he stated it in the video!
it's not an "automatic" it's actually a manual transmission that is shifted by a computer, it has a clutch and everything. I think what happened is, they had it in manual mode, and he forgot to shift.
