      @@ShannonVanFleet wow you are amazing and instructing us, would you be willing to offer up some of your favorite toning formulas for Blonde hair, with Redken Shades EQ in a video? or perhaps show us on a mannequin hair how to work with some of the issues you have discussed when it comes to toning out a mixture of different shades of orange/yellows? Another video im hoping for is perhaps a video with formulas on(with redken shades eq for covering/fixing) "banding"? if so thanks so much!

    Wow literally the best video I have seen about toning hair! you have finally explained what no other hairdresser on CZcams seems to manage even though they have so much knowledge at their fingertips- why can they not break it down into a (fairly) simple explanation of colours and chemicals so that I could’ve understood it the way I have understood you? I just found your channel and I love it! Thank you for all of the great information! Here’s my question: I’ve been regularly going to a hairdresser to get my gradually lightened and now we have COVID. My hair is starting to get brassy. So if I wanted to color my hair at home, what brand(s) would you recommend for a non professional to buy?

    • @ShannonVanFleet
      @ShannonVanFleet  Před 4 lety +2

      I honestly have not had my hands in non-salon brands in over a decade so it’s really hard for me to give a good recommendation! L’Oréal is tried and true and manufactures many professional brands including Redken, Matrix, Biolage, and Pureology, so I suppose I would have you start there! Although I am not sure if they have toners available or not!

      Chi liquid colors are great because you can use them as Semi, Demi AND permanent-depending on what developer you use. It’s very user friendly and they have a great selection of colors. You can find them at Sally’s Beauty.

    Hi Shannon! I don’t know if you remember me, but last fall I was about to bleach out my hair and you gave me great advice!🙏 When I finally did it in November it turned pale banana, ( I used icon cream bleach) just perfect.. after waiting a week for repair, I was terrified to put a demi on it and just decided to sleep in shimmer lights purple shampoo and L’Oreal violet conditioner a few times and then maintain when washing...it worked great!!! However, when the roots started growing out I decided to mix two boxes of Revelon blonde together and put it on my roots taking it down a bit for a natural shadow root then painting it into my light color that is long... somehow it 100% worked. Thank you for these videos, please don’t stop them!💕💖
