One thing to be aware of with farming simulator: Out of all the developers at Giants who make the game, not a single one of them has ever sat foot on a farm or operated any kind of farming equipment. They get CAD data from manufacturers and are told/shown how it's supposed to work, and that means the game has a weird mix where the machines are incredibly detailed and work somewhat realistic, but nothing else is really properly simulated and it does not show what being a farmer is really like. And because it's a game it doesn't support things like no-till farming or CTF, but requires you to do certain operations like ploughing and tilling to get optimal yields, when it wouldn't be necessary in real life. I've spent way too many hours on that game, but there is unfortunately a lot of people who think the game is super realistic, and are then surprised when they see how different real farming is
OMG! Laura ran the virtual combine off into the creek! LOL! That was hilarious! 😂 The graphics on the game/simulator were awesome! That looked like a really great time!

Thank you for showing the Farming game on computer. Great idea for someone interested in Farming or just running that big Red and JD green machine. I ran the simulator at Con Expo In Las Vegas. The manufacturer have really realistic type operations. I watched the CEO of VOLVO destroy himself on there simulator. It was funny. He was a down to Earth type of guy. Very nice. The CRANE ones are really neat. You can add WIND into moving loads, the wind swings the load around. And of course you get the peaky worker walking by you. Unsafe, to see if you clonk him on hard Hat. It was fun playing. But my backhoe is real loss/ sloppy on controls so it's challenging to run the simulator.
Now if you could simulate your farm, you could try different equipment to see how they worked on your farm. Love how Laura seems to be able to fit right into any situation and make to awesome.

I used to watch the squad years ago back in the fs15 days. This was interesting to see an fs youtuber doing a collab with a real farming youtube channel ( even though Grant is a real farmer now)

My son is soooo into Farming Simulator, seems to be extremely good in making and ajusting mods creating all kinds of cool gadgets and machinery, he also does that for Truck Simulator.
me who has being playing games since i was 7(iam 27) and playing farming simulator since 15. and the most i know about real farming is from some of my friends i had 2 or 3 friends than have farms but one was just wheat the other was more trees like fruits and olives(yes olives are fruits) and cork. and the other one was more cattle than not. iam from beja, portugal and we do mostly rice, barley, corn and wheat the other cereals are less than corn so. but cattle we have alot. i dont think she is a bad driver is just harder to move from real drive to simulated driven and with a mouse and keyboard, but going from simulated drive to real drive is so much easier. one more thing if you have to play on pc and you think is worth the money you can cheeck steering wheel with a gearbox and pedals. but the game does not recognise all of the brands so research first dont go buy it on a whim.

Question: I am sure you mentioned it before but I couldn't find anything when searching for it. Have you done a video with Kate's Ag - Farm to Fashion? Actually now that I compare the dates, the fires are about a year apart or so but its cool because it gives you 2 different perspectives, one of you helping and the other of their farm. If you want to check out Grape farming ask New York Farm Girls to set something up the next time you visit them. There is a lot of it in the Finger lakes. There is also a lot of grape farms in western NY along lake Erie.
