      Congratulations! That sounds awesome! When is your class date? Remember to never stop pushing. Lots of water during these warmer months.

    Thanks for this informative video, I have few questions: What are some exercises that you will recommend for folks wanting to go OCS to get involved into? What are some materials that someone can start reading before getting to OCS? Are you prior enlisted? What are somethings you wish you knew before going to OCS? thanks once again.

      Absolutely! I recommend running, HIIT and mock PRTs over and over to get your scores up. Don’t show up weak. Good form or the sharks will see your lack of preparation. Be smart, memorize appendix bravo and get the recent OCR floating around the internet and start memorizing all the basics. i.e, watchstanding principles, ranks, creed, oath. I’m rare and non prior/not straight from college and no connections to mil. For context, why I made my channel. I look back and believe I prepared well through research on air-warriors daily. I read every thread. Winter months were tough. I met the most amazing people, incredible staff and enjoy the class I was part of. Every class is different and the staff intentionally place challenges to see how you work through it and often times together. Be mindful of their tactics. Stay sharp and stay motivated for the entire duration. Do not remove your belt, do not DOR. This path isn’t for the weak in mind, body or spirit.
      Add: moleskin is your friend. Bring extra. Bring a ninja star to measure. Shoe inserts not needed if you double sock - saved our lives.

    Do you get to choose orders or a duty station at the end of ocs or the training schools that follow or is it predetermined?

    • @katiesites11
      @katiesites11  Před rokem

      Hello! Orders depend on your designator. Each detailer has their own parameters, training schedule, etc. Flight goes directly to OHARP or FL. SWO select ships at the end of OCS, etc. Training schools typically go follow OCS.

    Wait. So if u don’t do the workout correctly doing fast cruise u get rolled ? For v-ups?

    • @katiesites11
      @katiesites11  Před rokem +2

      Rolling is for various reasons subject to the staff’s discretion. The fast cruise evolution is all about pushing and ballistics. Other videos do a deep dive of evolutions specific. I rolled specifically on the v-up exercise in the shark tank. However, if you are not pushing or yelling loud enough. Staff may “shark tank” you. That’s when you get a more intense push session. Only if you still don’t push/tell enough does a staff member roll you. Now, sometimes staff rolls you because you appear deficient in another area of training. It’s not a bad thing in this atmosphere - it’s resiliency training.

      @@olawunmiojetola5105 you will receive a gouge book with all the info and yes, you will memorize Halls of Montezuma and a few other Navy songs.
